Dr. Anne, my hands are all dry, crusty, red, inflamed and in about to bleed condition due to constant handwashing and sanitizing. It pains me. Do you have any at home suggestions for me? Or any particular cream recommendations?
I like the hand creams from Rituals because they are not greasy. Neutrogena used to be magical when my hands would get dry as a child: intense stinging though. I don’t know if it is the same in Germany but here they make children go outside during lunch time in school unless the weather is extremely bad. Now my hands don’t dry out simply from wearing gloves and not spending much time outside. I also do use sanitiser whenever my hands aren’t visibly soiled. Usually only use water when preparing/eating food
I’m a dishwasher and my hands have been burnt from the hot steaming plates. But over time I’ve developed some sort of immunity to the heat but now my palms are all cracked and super dry and now I’ll bleed from the dry palms of my hands. Anything that could help?
I work with horses every day I put my hand Into Thayer water to check the temperature and I put my hands in Thayer food to mix it in and know my hands are dry and bleeding so I need help because Thay hurt so I need something to fix them
Frequent sanitizing got my hands so irritated that the normal handcreme with 5% urea was not affective. Then the pharmacist recommended me Cetaphil’s hand creme which did wonders for my hands. Just in case someone wants to try it. I must say it is bit expensive but was definitely worth it.
@@javedrasul2547 I can't answer that as I don't know what exactly your job is - are you immersing your hands in water, are you working in the cold, are you tocuhing rough substances... These things can all contribute to dry and bleeding hands.
Do you have hand cream recommendations you would like to share?
I think there is no permanent solution for this…
It’s come and go.But the problem is its 🩸
@@javedrasul2547 It sounds painful. Have you seen a doctor about it?

Nothing that goes beyond what I say in the video. And to go see a doctor in person, as there might be another cause that needs to be ruled out.
@@DoctorAnne Thankyou doctor. I will do that
@@bonnyborah3769sanitizing is the worse. Lay off using it so much. That is what irritates your hands

Children are outside a lot in German schools, and if they aren't at school at the weekends, I make mine go outside at least twice a day.
I love Remedy by Medline. It has silicone😮and olivamine.
Thank you for sharing that tip.

Dependng on your job, there might be preventative measures you can use, like gloves or a protective cream.
