Fill the tires with liquid ballast, they hold 75lbs per tire and keep on the wheel weights with the snow tires. Also can add tire chains and use the weight from the toro ez bagger(65lbs) and bolt the weight between your feet on the platform. This makes it BEAST mode!!! The wings make it 6’ wide and can definitely keep up with trucks on driveways because of zero turn agility.
@@TomE74 you want the majority of the weight over the wheels for traction. That’s why liquid ballast and wheel weights are extremely helpful. Also having the fuel tank filled gives you and extra 80lbs. Plus the 65lb weight from the ez bagger attachment bolted to the stand on platform Definitely helps… Theirs not anywhere to really put weight where the mower deck is/was. But your right that would help… I just know from a traction standpoint, having the weight on the wheels is best.
Finally able to sit down and watch this! Enjoy your videos and starting to get into helping people in my community with small projects, thanks to you. Down side, the locking pin to my tiller on the pto shaft came off and disappeared about 10 mins into the job 😱
I put ATV tire chains on mine over the snow tires and the wheel weights. Because of that it pushes like a monster. No more spinning at all. We get a ton of snow where i live (northren Canada) and it has no problem doing my 19 driveways. Plus its a blast lol. I get a lot of thumbs up from people driving by. Much more nimble and safer than a plow truck for small residential driveways. I’ve put 240 hrs on it since I got it last spring. Its a workhorse.
@@ericpurcell9984 I have a 7x14’ enclosed trailer that I pull it around with. But route density is key with it though. Out of my 19 driveways, 11 of them are on the same street. If you can get something similar you will be in business! As for the tire chains, I am not sure what brand they are because they are off of my dad’s old 1984 suzuki quad lol. But if you look around for standard ATV chains, any brand should work. And since the Multiforce’s snow tires are a bit smaller than an ATV tire, I used some steel wire to string the slack out of it and to tighten it down so they wouldn’t come off when you “zero” turn.
I think the most fun I've had clearing snow, was when the company I worked for bought a Honda 400 four wheeler with a small snow plow. That was a blast!

It is more fun plowing snow in a heated bobcat . When it is ball freezing cold and the wind is blowing no thank you. Good for a homeowner. Thanks for the demo.
Had a Gravely power unit with a PTO out front ours was a 5265 with a Koehler engine. This was the late 70’s early 80’s it had a 5’ plow blade with weighted dual wheels I made so much money plowing drive ways with it. My Dad bought it brand new the blade pivoted either right or left all manual with a hitch pin to lock it in position up down was manual also by pushing on the handle bars. It had high and low gear and it could push anything really! Obviously was a walk behind it did have a sulky you could add but of course my Dad didn’t buy that cause he didn’t want us to be LAZY! We used it also to mow pond banks at our catfish farm in southern Kansas. We had 80 acres and mowed a lot of it with a 36” wide bush hog that attached to the Gravely!
I used to hate my Kohler EFI but I've had really almost zero problems and like your experience. Super cold, it will start right up and idle no problems.
If you really like that, you should try it with the snowblower attachment. It had problems at first but it was an adjustment issue and they're awesome. We even have the brush attachment which is even better when you have late snow because it cleans the sidewalk like nothing was ever there
A company by me has them reconfigured to run the boss atv V plows. Alot more friendly design for side walks so you can punch through and not get pushed around by the snow. Lots of guys load the tires and pile sand bags on the operators plate.
Oh wow!! I can tell you love that thing!! I can tell you that if that is the V-twin that if you put straight pipes on that it will sound almost exactly like a Harley....

thats actually really neat
Yep- I was impressed
I tell you what. Watching all your plowing videos makes me want to come up there and help you! The Grandstand Multiforce looks agile and has the right blade width for residential driveways. And you thought playing in the snow as a kid was fun.
I’ve used this setup for the last two seasons and it’s phenomenal, most people look at it and see that I might be losing traction and suffering.. on the flip side I utilize this as a positive to drift where needed to angle-in and push snow on banks at both driveway ends!
The biggest obstacle this setup has which I just overcame was the mobilizing of the unit, I use the ramp rack setup this year and it’s an absolute game changer!
Did you need to put anything on the ramp so the machine wouldn’t slip climbing up to the truck bed?
I know what your next equipment purchase is going to be . lol
I wonder if it can go on the back of a pick up truck with that ramp rack sport that’ll be so efficient but I think the plow wouldn’t fit
I was wondering what is the avg. Pay to push snow there a driver not a owner in a pickup? Thanks
Do you get a little heat off the engine for your torso, or are you just standing out in the cold?
Layers! On! Layers!
Amazing video Stan, would you do video Boss snow rator vs Toro Grand Stand?
coming up!
@@Dirtmonkey sweet can't wait.
Now would you charge more to plow driveways with this over a truck???
yes. becuase the travel time would take longer if it was through a neighborhood and not specifically in a development all tied to together.
Are tracks available for this?
Ive been searching for tracks for ours. Would be a huge improvement as traction can be an issue. Weve run 1 for 3 winters.
No tracks
@@Dirtmonkey 😢😫
Headed to your neck of the woods, hope most of the snow is gone.
It's a coming!! Stay safe
That's petty cool I know that x Mart has attachments. Having tire Chan's on or a more tread tires with stud's
That would really be cool
Hey Stan, were is the Snowdogg from the regular cab Ram ??
9:46 It looked like the dog across the street had to stop and take one last look at you before it went back in.
She probably wanted to come over and play.
