Could you explain how to use this? Is this a vst plugin for your daw? What hardware do I need, is the sound coming from regular speakers which are connected to my computer? How do i connect my guitar to my computer? So confused right now....
@@arrow23 Yep, it's a plugin for your DAW or other hosting platform (it's VST, AU, AAX). You will need to connect a guitar compatible audio interface to your computer, like the Apogee Jam. You then fire up your DAW and bring up a track with the plugin enabled and the interface as your audio input and then go.
@@arrow23 You'll need a computer, a DAW (cubase, logic, protools, live, studio one, whichever you like), an audio interface, a headphone/monitor speakers if you can. This can run as a standalone but you can only use it to record in a DAW. You connect your guitar with a regular guitar cable to your audio interface, for starters in that regard I'd check out interfaces from Focusrite, Native Instruments and (if you can afford) Apogee and Universal Audio.

I remember first finding Handmade Cities and being in absolute awe, telling my younger self i had to go see you in concert until one day i finally did and was completely amazed by the musicianship and the love you have for your music. Plini was amazing last night in Austin Texas! Talked to him a bit. He said he’d be open to a collaboration with Angel Vivaldi! Maybe one day we’ll all be lucky enough to hear such a thing! I’m a guitar player but man I was literally in awe at the skill level he and his band mates are at! They were incredibly talented! Thanks for bringing such beautiful music to the world!! Loved you before but now I have a whole new respect and love for what your doing!

@@plinimusic got it working last night and man its siiiiick. Super responsive and honestly feels a cut above Overloud TH3 and GR5. Very seriously considering buying a license. Great job man.
@@pablo_costas it may be a toaster but still can handle at least 6 instances of Bias FX and a bunch instruments on Studio One. If it needs more than that then is poorly optimized. Also Studio One can't scan it so I doubt that's the problem
Eriml Did you create an iLok account and all that Jazz? I couldn’t get it working until I followed the setup tutorial, and my PC is legit 11 years old with no recent upgrades.
@@aaronallison7229 yeah. I got the code and everything but Studio One gets stuck scanning it and the standalone doesn't open. It just shows up in Task Manager spikes at like 20% cpu and then goes down to 0 and just stays there. Both x86 and x64
Eriml I think you computer is powerful enough. The problem as you think must be somewhere else. Look at my laptop. Hopelessly underpowered and all the Neural DSP plugins including this one work. Even with higher sampling. I am using Mojave and Cubase 10. I am looking to get a proper iMac with all the trimmings regardless. Hope you get it working. 👌✌️🎸😎☕️

So when playing live. Do you still get the same sound? Are you still plugged into the computer and use irig or something as a controller?
