I remember him, Plini, when he was Halcyon on Bandcamp. He did everything himself, guitars bass, drum programming all while going to college for architecture I think was. He was so good at drum programming though that it sounded real and not only real but like a drummer that had a distinguished style like Mike Portnoy does.
Was lucky enough to get in touch with him and hired him to program some drums on few songs for me. Such a nice guy, so professional and he gave me a stupid good deal. Soon after that he started putting together a real band and changed from Halcyon to just his name Plini and I'm so glad he's getting the recognition he deserves...truly a brilliant musician!!

The Plini sounds very good for instrumental stuff. I've recently started a session of recordings with singers. The Plini is very hard to use in this context. There was a fight between guitar and voice. I tryed several EQ but finally the solution was to use the Nolly instead. Especiallu with female singers since they tend to be in the exact same range. However if I just want to have fun I use the Plini.
