    I would love to see a longer form of this with him telling us about his gadgets and why they are his choices. It was fascinating to see James Hoffman showing some gadgets and explaining their usage and giving his opinion on their effects.
    I'd also love to see someone of this skill-level use the amateur machine I have and the coffee I get at the supermarket, while someone of my skill level uses theirs. It would just be cool to see how mixing up variables changes the outcomes.

      All coffees taste different. Just like all wine taste different. We recognize ‘flavour’ by trying to identify different chemicals an associating them to Chemicals our body has seen before.
      As for making coffee as good as Anthony. That’s could have like saying I can hit a 3 like Steph Curry. Of course you can do it once. But you couldn’t keep doing it consistently.

      mate how do u compare how he prepared his espresso shot, to a 3 pointer😂.
      any decent barista works the same (in case they have the attributes ofc)
      apart from his fancy WDT he didnt do anything special just standard rules each decent barista can do.
      Im convinced if they both pulled a shot, nobody could tell who made what shot.

      I am making an analogy. So
      It’s easy to compare. They are both learnable skills.
      If I had a camera focused on the basket and all it showed was the ball going in would you be able to tell who shot it?
      The idea that anyone could walk up to the machine and make an espresso is equivalent to shooting an open shot in an empty gym.
      What real world factors do you also face? Was the coffee already roasted? Has it been dialed in? That machine is manual, so you have to turn it off. What is your target tolerance?
      And how many shots do you have to make?
      Making 1 coffee is the easiest thing in the world. Making good coffee, and making many of them accurately, is difficult.
      People saying they could replicate it are like seeing people commenting they could shoot a ball well. That’s the analogy. People downplay a skill because at face value it is easy. But they won’t be great at it.

      @@jamiethomson8456 I totally get your point, but the guy next to him is also a barista who knows his stuff.

    • @diiii_mond
      @diiii_mond 6 місяців тому +2

      Even if he did do a vid on it, chances are likely that it’s not actual kopi kuwak coffee since they sell more than they actually produce. On top of that, these animals are being poorly fed and malnourished that it’s not authentic anyways. The whole point of the idea behind it was that the animals that eat the coffee berries are likely eating the best ones, hence why they would use the poop beans since those are probably the best beans if that makes sense. James Hoffman made an excellent video on it.
