Ive been a barista a long time and legit I have to try o NOT tamp hard. I see some baristas get their whole arm into it, if I did that the shot would take an hour to pull. ☕️
I mean, if it's increasing the extraction percentage, then the coffee is going to taste different than without it. Whether it tastes better or worse is the real question though.

Don’t buy it. Warranty support is awful. Our “premium” $250.00 Virtuoso Baratza grinder stopped working in less than 12 months after very minimal use. They claim it is ‘clogged’’, but it isn’t. So frustrated with the support that we’re throwing this brick into the garbage. Still have a 40 year old pulse grinder and a 5 year old, $35.00 Shardor grinder…still chugging.

The manual is for ease of use and so anyone can. It’s never going to be the best you can get out of a device.
It’s because it’s hot; drinking warm coke is a terrible experience - the drink tastes stale and ridiculously sweet - the “drink ice cold” demand from coke is allows it to mask so much. I wonder what your granulated coffee experience would have tasted like over ice?

Any good comparisons between the milk produced by things like this and the Nespresso Aeroccino or or Subminimal options? These are all options to use with manual lever espresso machines, Pod machines or Aeropress. At this range price, do you go with a pitcher style frother/heater? Or even getting a small espresso machine just for the semi-auto steam wand like a Bambino Plus.

Also, also, I figured out that you can use regular ground coffee as long as you pack it tightly. It will extract less than normal but you can still get a great flavor.
If all you have it ground coffee that is fine. But grinders for home are fairly cheap and grinding your own (if you can) makes a difference
