I loved how she infused her performance art, fine arts, and the art of coffee making with her message about overcoming the challenges faced by the coffee industry as a whole; all the while, the purpose of overcoming issues related to climate change or the depersonalization of the industry was to bring back the very wholesome quality of restoring something "familiar" for the consumer to comfort them with the tastes or cultural "celebratory" scents she used in each ingredient. Beautiful script and the choreography of her performance was elegant. So curious about the textures and flavors of the coffee flavors she described too! Congratulations, Morgan!

Yo…my wife was a barista and coffee roaster, so I’ve been to a few barista competitions and I have to say, this was SPECTACULAR presentation. Speaking for 15 minutes, staying on script, all while making 16 servings…is absolutely bonkers. This was such a well delivered presentation. Congratulations!!
Well it's 12servings but yeah doesn't change that she rocked it 🖖🖖
is this girl better at making coffee than your wife? jk you better say your wife.
@@jaanmohammed1720 Her wife was a barista not a math's teacher, she only knows about coffee.
@@n00buo who is talking about her wife I'm talking about Morgan bruh and u don't need to be a math teacher to know that 12 is 12 and not 16. U need common sense which I think her wife knows and yeah if she does math like u said then she would in losses over her barista shop. Maybe u should first read his entire comment and UNDERSTAND it perfectly before replying to my comment
@@jaanmohammed1720 Mohammed you need to study irony after koran lessons haha
I don't know what i was expecting from a coffee comp, but it wasn't this, this was BRILLIANT, stunning performance, incredibly engaging and clear
Congratulations, Morgan!
a 10/10 presentation. Morgan is like your neighborhood barista who is funny and sweet and u go to every day and when one day you see her on TV/Internet you feel proud seeing how far she has grown and where she is. Congrats on reaching this far.

so used to seeing her in youtube shorts then this popped up. Excellent a presentation.
I literally thought it was an anouncer or audio recording for like 30 seconds straight! LOL
Wow, shoutout to Morgan. I love their videos about coffee, but I never knew they were a literal professional in their field 😭 They clearly worked their ass off for this, and it definitely paid off
This is so much pressure and anxiety of precision and performance that I could never put myself through. Which makes me respect her so much more.
I love how those judges looks at her with smile, it's so precious. Especially how morgan speaks with passion 💖

Her breathing control is crazy.
her voice and delivery is incredible.
That voice is so perfect, it took me to a amazing world coffee documental, almost as if i was walking right into the coffee fields
You know how much she love her job and fully dedicated to it. Its splendid. The elegance she have while preparing the coffee and the narration she was giving are full of information. Not everyone can multitask while speaking about facts and history of the coffee. Which make more interesting is the way she’s times her speech with her movement at the perfect time and cleanly offer the drinks with the perfect services without overlapping her sentences.
Exactly 😏😎👍🏽🤪🤣🥳🥳
Look at her hands. She is terrified. Yet, she conducts herself professionally and confidently. Ross is how you conduct yourself under pressure. Good job.
This has to be one of the greatest professionals challenges ever, memorize a speech while preparing coffee for a group of judges
I watched her videos on instagram all the time and had no idea she had such a beautiful voice I'm really impressed by her overall presentation
Somehow she's truly the Coffee Prince, I know her of instagram, but because she has short hair she just resembles that caracther a lot. The pandemic gave her the ability to excell as a barista and now she's second best barrista in the World. Absolutely inspiring, and she'll for sure will win the title once in her life-time.
She really feels like the Coffee Prince! I was always thinking of a way to describe her that’s definitely it.

Morgan, your performance at the World Barista championship was Absolutely amazing, as a Colombian I can say that we are very proud of our coffee and you've just used it in an incredible way with those tropical mixtures with lulo and pineapple, it was just Mesmerizing to watch your performance Morgan!
She did an incredible job :] Most notably how she could speak and remember what she was supposed to say, how she cleaned, didn't rush, explained history, and kept cool under pressure! I could never
You can do it.
oh my god i can see how nervous morgan was. her hands you could see were twitching but her voice and confidence on stage never gave it away! great job morgan :)
Her speech is so smooth! I never thought that I would’ve watched a whole coffee video when I don’t even drink coffee 😂
I love how you can see some of the judges smiling at 11:45
It seems like they are genuinely enjoying the presentation
the judges look like they are truely enjoying the experience whilst judging. a true professional that can not only impress the judges but also give a pleasant lecture.
im currently in hospitality studies and learning for it as a major, which includes catering and being a possible barista as morgan..i can tell you now,,being in a kitchen at that level is such a high amount of stress, the fact that she is able to serve so well AND speak without stuttering with such confidence shows that she has worked so hard for this moment in her life. but even dispite that, i can just imagine how she is freaking out inside her head from stress , props to her. seeing this makes her my new rolemodel
If you look closely while she is pouring in the test tubes, her hands are shaking a lot, but her voice is steady, and she doesn't spill a drop. She trained well for this, and it shows, but she was still nervous. She's goddamn amazing

when Morgan talks about having empathy in a world full of chaos at 10:25, the judge's face when she hears her is so sweet
they were all watching her with a smile
Empathy means showing compassion and understanding when someones opinion differs from your own, many people lack this virtue despite harping it...ive discovered true empathy is hardest to find in a person these days
@@sew_gal7340 honestly the amount of people who claim to be empaths but are very close-minded and self-important; straight away you're not as empathetic as you think you are

Chaos is standing between those two judges, staring right into the camera.
This is confirmation that the whole “Coffeeshop vibe” is not an online invention. I’ve never seen judges who looked so genuinely interested and encouraging to the candidate, while also keeping it professional.
As for Morgan, her trembling hands only emphasize how masterful she is. She never lost professionalism, charisma, and passion.
It really felt like: “yes, we have to compete, but let’s not forget what we care about is our shared passion for creating a moment of bliss in just one small cup of coffee”
this is confirmation. this channel hasn't had a video close to thus popular in 8 years
i'm thinking to memorized on 15 mins infront of judge and peoples around w/out shaking my hand... morgan is amazing
As someone who was a barista for years, this is so nostalgic. I love working in the coffee industry and still dream of having a shop one day.
I want other championships to be like this.
NBA, “Judges, the dunk was a late addition to the game we know today as ‘basketball’. Did you know the first hoops were actual baskets? Nets were implemented later on. Follow me as I shoot this 3 pointer behind a line that was painted by the finest brush from northern Italy with paint from France.”

She has the voice of an announcer or a narrator, mad props for her poise in how she speaks
Each to their own. I find it unnatural and patronising.
@@hughm1383 Announcers and narrators never speak naturally when doing their jobs

Even her voice is sound clear.
Probably not weeks but months and years!!!!
she spent months preparing for the competition 😊
Memorizing a 15 minute monologue alone would've taken several weeks! Let alone the multi-tasking and creating her beverages

This is so impressive. She worked so hard on this 🎉
After watching the finals, I don’t know how Morgan didn’t win. Her presentation was amazing and on point. No downtime, info packed. Voice and speech was flowing so well.
Half of her right shot was wasted because she didn’t center it. She left already pressed coffee in the open for over 10 seconds (drying, loss of aroma) , broken glass, overall nervousness over the top
I like her but I’m surprised she made it that far if that was her attitude trough the entire competition
These types of videos are always inundated with eeeendless superlatives and sycophancy, it’s nice to find someone actually interested in the reality of what’s unfolding
You think the taste of the coffee might be important?
@@procreatetimelapse5389 When you said "broken glass", I thought you meant she dropped a glass during the competition, but the glass she broke was intentional and part of the presentation. I don't think that's fair to strike against her. It also doesn't look like "half" that shot was lost from the lack of centering, nor do I think "over the top" is an accurate characterization of the nerves.

Her performance painted an image of coffee and its connection to human history. The judges who drank her brew while watching her live must have had an unique experience. Made me realise coffee can be a medium to express oneself like art.
