@@ricomatv I was wondering about this too when I saw the video. "more curved effect" Nothing of the such was described in the video. The only different I see mentioned is just top-to-bottom vs bottom-to-top.
@@amdival1823 if the stitches on the cap go bottom to top and inside to out then on a flat it could push the fabric (especially if light weight) out causing puckering and need more stabilization unnecessarily

When I use the frame out on my Ricoma MT 1501 when it comes forward it makes a loud grinding noise like it’s hitting the embroidery head. Help! How do I fix this? I have never been able to use this.

I have tried to change the start and stop points in a design, I'm useing luxe and I always save but the program in the sewing application where it show how the machine will stitch it out always goes from top to bottom instead of bottom to top and I'm setting it to go from bottom top , I need help because it's for a customer who wants hats at least 20

Could you explain why you can't use the cap design for the shirts? Would it cause registration issues as well?
The cap design is digitized differently to create a more curved effect that would not work on a flat garment.

Hi! This is just a simple video explaining the difference between both. We have different tutorials where we show flats and caps!
It doesn’t really explain anything, if we don’t see the difference. Does it look different at all? We can’t tell since you didn’t show it.
But you should not use auto digitizing and do it manually. Auto will give you thread breaks, registration issues, and lots more.
