Stitch bottom up and CENTER OUT - and your underlay is what locks the hat to the stabilizer to prevent the slippage that can happen - and provides support to your upper thread. Your underlay is your foundation - You have no foundation you have an unstable house.

This digitizing may work but is not recommended at all. Make sure it starts center bottom and goes outward in each direction. The digitizing shouldn’t go side to side. Make sure to use a good software like Wilcom for digitizing.

We use our own software chroma for digitizing. As long as it works for you, there are lots of techniques out there everyone can try, this is what works for us!

Make a video with flat embroidery on caps with a large fill area in the center to see your digitizing and embroidery quality.

    Profit potential:
This cap costs $5 and the materials including the foam, thread and needles add up to about $1.
    Cost per cap = $6
Caps like these are sold online for around $30, meaning you can make a profit of around $25 per cap.
    Ricoma machine = $10,000 = 400 caps to break even....ugh.
