This needs to be a hallmark movie! Like a young girl in NY trying to get into the miss America pagent. She has to do well in the NY pagent to represent her state. But shes also a sanitation worker. At the same time she meets the man of her dreams! How will she balance it all!?

I don’t really think these jobs are discouraging women. Men usually have more of an interest for these kinds of jobs so the clothes and “accessories” are tailored to men. But I totally agree that they should have had gloves to fit everyone whether there were a lot of females joining or not

I always made sure to wrap my broken glass on several layers of newspaper!!! It also helps to put on a tape with “BROKEN GLASS” written on it! Just an idea, so we can all be more mindful :) She is just LOVELY, this video was so great and I wish her all the success!!

Came back to Allure wondering what's new with these day-in-a-life videos and was pleasantly surprised to see an everyday lady as their latest one! Really appreciate when they follow a regular woman with an "unconventional", albeit necessary, job

I am absolutely obsessed with her! The part about performing in the sanitation suit really got me! She's so inspirational and just amazing! This gave me so much that I didn't realize I needed.
I sew so sometimes I have broken needles. I tape them to cardboard before throwing out. I also have the tape dispensers and try to cover up the sharp edges. Only takes a moment to ensure someone’s safety
