I've always considered John to be the "Quiet man" of the group. His poetry is lovely. Perhaps his next poem could be called "Barney's bedlam". I really feel for him as all his friends have now passed. Long may John continue.
John Sheehan is an absolute legend. The greatest story ever told was that John was employed by the ESB , and so after been on the road, he'd give the bar managers a few quid to shut up shop because he'd be in a hurry to get home for work the next day. Only Ronnie would give them extra to keep the sessions going 😂😂
He sums up the deceased legends in such a great and respectful way even though they are gone they still continue in the dubliners and all irish music
