  • A short clip of Shane being carried from the church to a standing ovation and a nice rendition of Mo Ghile Mear.
Shane leaves the building at about 1.48 of this clip.
The rest of the clip is the mourners filing out while the choir continues singing Mo Ghile Mear.

I was in hospital the same time as shane one time. We where not too far apart.... i have diabetes from alcohol abuse....im an irish poet, artist and musican... everybody had so much respect for Shane..in hospital...his privacy and his work.. and to let him be alone... it has broken my mothers heart that i have put myself through such war in my body...but she knows its because of other things too... we as artist's dont have an easy life... when your brain is full of thoughts, sounds, ideas, visions, 24/7... it aint easy.... but im happy to say im still above ground... i will never leave the legacy Shane left...but i hope my hard work in a visual and musical light will keep the likes of us people shine... God bless you all...

Those in the know found space upstairs. Not a hidden door, but not everyone tried it.

      Mo Ghile Mear.
      A traditional Irish lament.
