For more than one reason, I've been listening to Irish music all day long. Apparently, I've save the best for last. It doesn't get much better than this. Cheers to the Dubliners.
I chatted with his brother Paul in Copenhagen with "the Dublin legends"(after seing them live, and that is even better than youtube ;)), also quite a guy :)
Hello, I have this album and is my favorite set. My go to several times a month - for years! I've researched and not been able to find two things: 1. The date this was recorded? 2. Actual group name for this session? If anyone knows for sure, appreciate sharing.

Where is the audio from? It sounds very clean (official)?
Do I hear Sean Cannon in the background?
What's the exact title of the cd? Can't find it anywhere!
Who's singing Molly Malone?
Why wasn't Patsy playing with the dubs at this gig?
That IS Patsy!
Patsy Watchorn & Friends!
It was recorded in the late 90s early 2000s, Patsy hadn't joined the Dubliners at that stage
Patsy Wachtorn is the best of them all---better than Luke Kelly, even!!
Well that is as close to blasphemy as you can come in my book :). Luke is the king but Patsy is for sure the one who comes closest.
Only a close second
