I almost got the Rogue dumbbells but didn’t wanna wait for the Black Friday sale, and certainly didn’t wanna pay the shipping. So, ironically, I went with the Troy premium 55-75# dumbbell set to match my 5-50# set. I like the straight knurled handle better than the ergonomic contoured Rogue handle. The Troys are shipping straight from headquarters in Texas I believe.
The only reason I got the rogue is that on the 65 and 75, for some reason, the Wal-Mart pricing on the Caps is a little screwy. They have the 75s for over 110, each and the 65s are over 80. The rogues aren't badly priced if you can pick them up, but if you can't they're crazy.
Jim in the Gym Rogue’s dumbbells are fairly priced compared to some others. I paid $2.30 per lb, but hey I gotta be marching. And I also made a decision NOT to get the 80-100# set, with the full realization that I’m not that freaking strong nor will I ever be that strong, here at 49 years old, with all types of tendinitis and other degenerative diseases. oh well!!!!
Yes for sure! I got the dumbbells and will do a compare with the Cap dumbbells I usually buy. I guess I was expecting the store to have more stuff in it. LOTS of open space. And the gym was huge. Basically, it reminded me of this old retail chain called "Best products" that we used to have. They basically had all their stuff in a warehouse and would bring it out to you.

Thanks for the all-too-quick tour of Rogue Fitness; did you get your dumbbells? If so, will there be a video review?
