*A great vacuum💯 for the price. The suction is awesome **MyBest.Tools** excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.🤨*
After viewing this, I realized that we need robot repair shops. There are way too many screws and parts to this process, and I'd rather pay someone to do it. However! The good news is, I was able to fix my roller brush, just by using "machine oil," as suggested, on the part on the robot where it needs to rotate. After oiling well, it worked like a charm! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this reply 💖 It is way too much effort to take the whole robot apart and I would definitely make a mistake in putting it back together. But I just put a little bit of vegetable oil onto both sides of the main brush after cleaning it and now it’s running like a charm!
Thanks so much! My Opodee is finally fixed! I didn't need to disassemble as much to access the jammed area on my model, but this video helped me figure out what to do. This has been driving me nuts for a couple weeks! I cleaned the roller brush multiple times, but nothing worked until I found this video. :)
I don’t no if you see my comment or not but i wanna take time to thank you tons for making this video man. Saved my time and your video made me give a at least try to open my robot vacuum and work on. It really fixed my problem and it was exactly that white spinner attached to motor. Thanks again buddy 🙏🏻🙏🏻
The vacuum itself is also amazing🌼 I moved into a home with hardwood floors and with two dogs I would see a layer of hair daily. I got this and it changed my life. I run it every night and the amount of dirt and hair it picks up daily is impressive. I have a golden retriever who sheds and this keeps hair to a minimum. I still need to take the big vacuum over the rug about once a week but eufy does the rest. The hardwood floors are always dirt free. I would definitely purchase this product again and tell my friends to purchase it too!
25C owner here, got all the way down to the brush motor and realized it was belt driven. No hair. Was nice to be able to access the wheel compartments and make sure they were cleaned out. reassembled and pulled of the front wheel and found lots of pet hair lodged there and in the spoke and cleared all of that. That seems to have done the trick for me, no rolling brush issues since then. For 25C owners, probably just check all 3 wheels first before disassembling completely. Cheers for the video, though!
Thank you so much for this video. I have a Liectrolux C30B rebrand whose main brush was spinning but would stop in 2 minutes. I disassembled and luckily mine was easier and didn't need to unscrew the motherboard. There was a huge amount of both human and pet hair stuck in the spindle house and the spindle itself. After cleaning everything up, it's as good as new
I started doing this at 10 AM. I struggled, I cried, I lost screws, I had a beer, I cried again while trying to put everything back together. At 2 PM I finally did it and now a side brush is stuck. 🤣 Oh well, here we go again!
Thank you for showing how to put it back together with each and every screw! A couple of yrs ago I watched a Roomba disassembly but the reassembly was sorely lacking, had to re-watch the disassembly to get the reassembly info! You were very thorough and though my new Eufy BoostIQ 12 hasn't yet arrived, I am anxious so watching all related videos. Again thanks, I'll watch it again when I need to get to the motor and need to recall the placement of all the screws : )
This was a super fantastic video. If you are getting the 4 beep signal, 20 times simultaneously, then it is likely your beater brush having an issue with dirt on your motor. Even though my vacuum (Ecovac) is a different model, his demonstration lead me through this from beginning to end and saved me a bundle! Thank you!!
Thanks for the video, it really helped me to take my Robovac 30C apart! However, in my case it was the ball bearing (10x19x5mm) that got destroyed over the years. Going to order a replacement now.
Helped me fix mine! There was no obvious internal problem on my machine, it just wouldn't accept charge. There was a lump of fluff over one of the infrared bumper sensors when opened, I think it may have been this leading it to believe it was never correctly positioned onto its charging foot.
This has worked for me twice on my greenworks. Unfortunately I've also had to resolder the motor wire twice because I'm a klutz 😂 but still, brilliant video! You should do more how-to's!
Thanks for this video. I bought a new N79 battery last month. Then the roller stopped working today. I missed putting back a couple of screws resembling but working is working.
Thanks that off and on 6 times brought my ion vac back to life, it would be on the charger fully charged but when I activate it it would go back to the charger, blink red and refuse to go work, was like this for a few days seen your video tried the off & on trick, nows it's working again, thanks 😊 👍
Very well explained but complicated to fix on your own ..have to reach deep inside opening many parts..should be very careful while re fixing, can’t afford to miss any step ,,,,
I had a different vacuum(Yeedi) but as long as you know know generally how to work on simple electronics it worked. My problem was on the motor that drove the main brush, not in the belt housing around it. I had to pry the sprocket away from the spindle to push and pull away(with tiny forceps) the hair and gunk that had accumulated. Aside from my model having a sensor that had to be removed for the dust bin to be reinstalled(I really wish I had taken a cell picture of it before I removed it) all went well and took about two hours.
Thanks buddy. I fixed my yeedi k700 with your tutorial. You were right, the motor was full with my dog's hair. The only difference with this robot was to take out the bumper, first I had to take out the upper plastic, and there's one hidden screw under the sticker with the model.
I have a Beko robo with two rotating brushes on each side. One of the brushes stopped spinning.what can I do? I pulled the brush out, it is clean free of any obstacles. How do they turn? By a belt or each have a motor? Your video was great.
Well after watching this I have decided my robot will work just fine without the brush so I just left it out. It indeed does work on hardwood without the brush. Thanks anyway.
There is this spot between 5:08 - 5:13 where you separated the top from the bottom pieces, but you stopped recording and when you restarted recording, they came apart like magic because you did that part while you were not showing it on video. I can't see how you unlatched them. I'm trying to do mine and it is stuck. Why not show us everything? Other than that, it looks like a marvelous video.
Hi I did this and got my brush rolling again thank you, however , I put everything back together and now I am getting a continuous message that the drop sensors are dirty, it’s stuck on a ledge etc. it gives three beeps and a flashing red/orange light and it won’t work? I have Eufy 15 C model, any suggestions. I did reopen it again and made sure all the connectors are connected etc. Hope you can help? 🙏🏼
Mine is flashing red and 3 beeps says drop sensor error. Ive taken apart cleaned as much as possible. One big wheel seems to not move as easily as the other. I took it apart didn’t see any dirt, hair etc. motor in wheel? Cant seem to get mine working 😢
It’s 1:30 am and after 6 1/2 hours I now have a super clean room decoration (aka) trash. Still four red beeps. We have a 25C and it’s a bit different. Struggled getting the top off. There are two screws where the brush sets that are not on yours. After we figured that out we progressed okay. The brush motor is different too as it has a rubber ribbed belt instead of the multiple gears. Lots of little differences but was able to follow through. Wasted 6 1/2 hours, but we would never know until we tried and we’re only out time. Sigh.
Hey thanks I got to it. But there were no debris. I added oil. I still got the error on the Greenwroks Vacuum. Should I dispose or are there replacement motors? Thanks
There is another thing to check, if cleaning the brush doesn't solve it. One of the side bits of the brush, the round end bit, is made of a piece that rolls and one that stays fixed. Hair can get in between them and is very tricky to get out, you can try using a needle and twisting the end bit while you pull at the hairs.
Thanks for your help. I have the Robovac L11 . I recently bought a new battery, i installed and put it to charge. The blue light was ok.. but never stop. I tried to use it but appears the red light. I have cleaned the connectors and checked the charger.. what more i can do? Thanks for your help
Very good video. I commend you for using a real screwdriver instead of a power screwdriver. However, you just cleaned and reassembled the motor and gearbox without showing what was preventing it from turning. What if it was a burnt out motor? Could you have tested it with 5 VDC before putting it all back together? Are replacement motors available from Eufy?
what was the error code of flashing light sequence? before doing all this I want to be sure it's not a dead battery, I am getting 3 red lights flashing after it turns on, it starts up, rolls out of it's charger about 4 inches, stops then does the 3 beep sequence with a red light. Is that the fan? or dead battery? do you think? model 11S I think.
Hi. I have Eufy c11. The other day I watched it swallow my medium size hairtie. When I opened the dust compartment it wasn't there nor it was wrapped around the brush!!! Is there any possible way the hairtie is stuck somewhere inside the Robovac? If so, how do I retrieve it? Any suggestion would be so helpful! Thanks
I have a 30C. I got as far as trying to pull the wheel out, but it does not seem to come out. There also does not seem to be a way to separate the top from the bottom. As best as I can tell, the 30C must have a different way to disassemble it than what is shown in the video. I sure wanted these instructions to work.
Did exactly what you said...loads of debris removed but rolling brush still stiff and robovac 11 keeps stopping saying rolling bar brush stuck. Do i need a new motor? If so where from?
There was a small water spill from the plant and now my xplorer 95 is f’ed. These things really can’t handle much it’s sad. I replaced the battery and now it gives errors about the filter for some reason
I was able to do most of this and cleaned out a lot of dog hair from under the wheels and near the motor: however, the part where you detached those wires from the bumper- mine worked the opposite way. The wires are still connected to the bumper but separated from inside the machine. I am now having trouble reconnecting those wires that are hanging off the inside of the bumper to the inside of the machine. Any suggestions?
Have a eufy 11s max took the whole thing apart brush wasn't moving bc it had gotten stuck and reemed out the square bit used to rotate it with the motor. If he doesn't offer parts for this it's a white plastic gear any help??
Great video! This sorted my Eufy out first time- loads of dirt & hair caught up. However it happened again a few weeks later & this time i didn’t get as much dirt out. When put back together the same error code is coming up 😥 Any suggestions @life hacker?
I realize this question was 2 years ago but here goes. If the gears or belt and ends of rotating brush are clean and not binding, check the motor shaft with gears or belt removed. The motor shaft will have a small gear still attached to it. This gear/shaft should turn freely. It probably won't spin if you twist it, but it should not be stuck or take any appreciable force to turn. Mine was stuck fast. With force I was able to turn it a little. I dug more hair etc. from beneath the gear on the shaft, then I put one drop of light oil in that space, and another drop on the shaft where it can be seen at the other end of the motor. Then I turned the motor gear by hand around and around while the oil penetrated and the shaft loosened up. Fixed.
What do you do if you have a solid red indicator and four beeps, but your rolling brush is NOT stuck and it turns freely? I followed your video step by step but I'm still getting the error message (solid red and four beeps).
I have followed the steps to clean the motor and after putting everything together it still doesnt spin. What am I doing wrong?how can i fix this? It is only 3 years old!!😣
I droppes my vac and it still works, but the wheels dont spin to together, or one spins in the wrong direction, or not at all, just like urs. Any thoughts? (I opened it up and reattached the gear, but it still doesnt spin)
@@lifehacker8400 the ones attached to the motor werent spinning right. Fortunately i drenched it in isopropyl alcohol and prayed, and its working find now. Doesnt make sense, but the wheels work again justin time for mother's day
Hi, please help me! My eufy 11c says that the side brushes are stuck. I've clean it and even disconnect the two side motors and the error pressist. What can I do more? I can't believe it won't work anymore, please help me! Thank you
I’ve taken the brush out of my Roborock before to clean it, but now it is stuck in the machine. The brush seems clean when I turn it manually, I simply cannot remove it. The brush is lying crooked in the machine and won’t budge
BUT there is tons of FUZZ in the bristles of my EUFY Robovac 30C. How do I get the fuzz out? It's embedded in the rolling brush fibers. Anyone got any tips?
you can rinse it in the bathtub and use your hands to pull out the fuzz. just make sure the drain in the bathtub is sealed, so the fuzz doesn't get into the drain. then let the bristles dry over night.
@@reecenewton3097 Yes, I did try that. But it pulls out the bristles. Tried the poky end of a parting comb too. Just wasn't sure if there was some magical solution or if it's just monotonous picking. 😞

Great video... my Eufy bumps into all my furniture any idea what's wrong? Please help
You must've forgotten the green ribbon cable for the front sensors needs to be plugged back in 😂 your robot is blind 😵
This looks like what I need to do
I have the Eufy 11...the ball came out but not the housing it sits in...therefore I cannot separate the top from the bottom.....any hints?
Just pop the plastic piece the roller snaps into with a screwdriver.
Hi, please help me!
My eufy 11c says that the side brushes are stuck.
I've clean it and even disconnect the two side motors and the error pressist. What can I do more?
I can't believe it won't work anymore, please help me! Thank you
have you tried taking out the side brushes and cleaning the inside of where they're connected?
Tnx!
Where can you get a replacement motor on line? My one is completely sieved.
Front brushes aren't twirling?
Use a comb with fine teeth, comb now dedicated to the Eufy.
@@reecenewton3097 Yes, I did try that. But it pulls out the bristles. Tried the poky end of a parting comb too. Just wasn't sure if there was some magical solution or if it's just monotonous picking. 😞
