It’s been very inspiring watching you create your pieces this year and this one is developing well too. My favourite colours - orange and purple! You may be interested to know I have brought my embellished out of the cupboard and have created a small piece of felt using wool top on a felt background. Splotches of all colours all over. I will add Freeform crochet bits and slow stitch it, then make a couple of journal covers and needle books out of it. It will be quite mild here in the southeast of Australia over Christmas. Look forward to seeing you in 2024.

I absolutely love this piece and am awed by your explanation of your changes etc, i.e. pushing it into the background. It really worked well. I am sorry but I can't say what should go on next but am waiting with bated breath to see what you do.. Also, I totally agree with you about a relaxing day for Christmas. This is the first year we will be on our own, just the two of us, as our kids (who are grown up with families of their own) are each doing their own 'thing.' Which is totally fine with us. We haven't bothered putting our decorations up and I am ok with that. Have a lovely time relaxing and stay warm! Here in South Australia we are trying to stay cool, hahahaha.
