Im new to this channel recently got a baby Sulcata but iv spent probably 8 hrs today watching ur videos i met and rode with u back in 2010 a good friend of mine that u recently hung out with that collects reptiles told me about kamp kenan and im really enjoying the videos
As you can see.... My avatar has been the Cassowary for decades now. Blue Skinned walkers of the forest, armed with an inner toe up to 10 inches long, spreading seeds to keep the ecosystem healthy, and taking no nonsense from anybody ! Plus, females choose many mates who then incubate the eggs and raise the young. :-) Love these young Cassowaries... no cask on the head yet !
That was a fun video! Blake has such an amazing variety of animals, and you can interact with all of them. How cool is that!!! Thanks Kenan and Matt for taking us along. 👍🏼♥️
My new animal obsession is cows, especially the Highland cows and the mini cows as I call them. I have always loved donkeys and goats too. I would be so happy to have big a property with many many cats (yes I'm a cat lady) and farm yard animals plus some kind of enclosures good for English weather.
Blake: yeah they are known "to kick trees causing the fruit to fall out the tree unto the ground.. " kenan: "noooo way.. you dont want one of them kicking you in the chest.. " matt *steps back 5 feet*
They like living can openers. Striking when they have jumped into the air and kicking straight outward . Only bird known to have killed humans intentionally.
@@sallyrutledge4726 female ostrich have been seen and known to kill hunters in the Africa bush on African continent. There's over 30 videos of them chasing and kicking the day lights out of hunters and bypassers
Hi Kenan Thanks for sharing another trip to Blake's Exotic Ranch. Those casowary are so large. They do look like a dinosaur. How exciting that you hand fed one. The Emu was very nice to. The other animals are so friendly. Yes now Sophia will want a donkey. He has such an awesome variety of birds, and animals. And a bonus, you have some quail to feed your repties. Look forward to your next trip to see Blake again. Cindy
Incredible animals and taxonomy wise, they are dinosaurs…birds, that is. So no one can say that they’ve never seen a living dinosaur, they’re all around us. 😁
9:08 Not same Family, same Infraclass: Palaeognathae, one was left out, fairly newly added but there's also the family Tinamidae (Tinamous), so there are six living ratite types, Struthionidae (Ostrich), Rheidae (Rhea), Tinamidae (Tinamou), Apterygidae (Kiwi), this one is debated between being, Casuariidae (Cassowary & Emu) or Casuariidae (Cassowary), Dromaiidae (Emu). Tinamous are found through out Central and South America, with nine different recognized genus split into two subfamilies, Tinamous are the only living ratite that can fly (just) and roost in tree. Despite being found in the Americas, the Tinamous closest relative is (was) the Moas of New Zealand, and despite being found in New Zealand, the Kiwis closest relative is (was) the Elephant-birds of Madagascar.
... and the Quail is what keeps the Slink-meister, Croc Monitors, and Gators happy and NOT focused on Matt as the NEXT BAIT! Remember, Folks --- Matt is the Meat Barrier! shhhhh! Kenan doesn't tell Matt this!
I'll say this for emus or ostriches -- you know they're being honest when they peck you on the head! Some animals are born ornery! I don't know about these rheas! At least I know about the other two giant bird species! LOL PS -- The NASTIEST animal I've seen in zoos was a koala, surprise, surprise! When those things start shrieking, it's annoying. Even screaming young children and rampaging gorillas aren't that bad! Yes, I did witness a silverback(?) gorilla go crazy in the gorilla house at the Lincoln Park Zoo (Chicago) decades ago. I've never seen an animal get so abruptly angry and look motivated to KILL. They evacuated the gorilla house QUICKLY. I was 8-10 feet away from the reinforced glass, minding my own business, when that gorilla charged and SLAMMED against the glass. It WAS trying to get out. I think the animal was tranquilized but I never found out. I got the heck out of that exhibit ASAP! PS PS -- I've eaten ostrich meat. Stick with turkey and chicken! Ostrich meat is kind of tough and bland from what I remember. I sampled it when I lived in Chicago about 25 years ago.
Kenan you have to google this as a Australian i still laugh at this.. Google the Australian emu war... i don't want to give away the story but its wow...Show it to Blake he will be wat the
He's an animal hoarder for youtube views and tiktoks. Soon as he gets more money he just expands and buys more animals instead of downsizing a bit to provide more space for a few.
Canon Birds are not like dinosaurs they are dinosaurs. therapoda avian. so everything from a chickadee to a penguin to an ostrich to a vulture they are all dinosaurs. no ifsands or butts Turtle tonight dinosaurs crocs are not dinosaurs crocs and turtles are reptiles in Arcasaurs yes but they're not dinosaurs Birds on the other hand are dinosaur.

Yes, but I would like to see living diplodocus, triceratops and сeratosaurus..

Dude! I love The Dark Crystal!!!

Love cassowary
When those things look at you it makes your hair raise.
❤❤ My two favorite UA-camrs
You could have a cassowary island 🏝️ in the big pond Kenan, I can imagine the feeding videos! 👍💯🖖
No chance!

Thanks, will do!
This video needed to be much much longer!!! Awesome
$205 total for 20 xl, 40 lg (they didn't say how many was in the pack but I'm just guessing 10 each same as xl), and 25sm, not bad, not bad at all!
Talking about how calm emu are!!!
Obviously, he never saw Karen from Useless Farms!
Get Sophie a donkey!! I’m sure she will love it.🫏heehaw
Amazing animals
Cassowaries scare the crap out of me. They are one of the reasons I'm never traveling to Australia.
Damn. The Dark Crystal reference brought back childhood memories 😂😂
They run like kiwis. Forest birds.
That ria ❤
❤
Yeah get your step daughter mini goats or a mini donkey
... and the Quail is what keeps the Slink-meister, Croc Monitors, and Gators happy and NOT focused on Matt as the NEXT BAIT!
Remember, Folks ---
Matt is the Meat Barrier!
shhhhh!
Kenan doesn't tell Matt this!
I love big birds and emus in particular. I have fed and pet emus and I would love to get a pair at some point
Kenan you read my mind with the Dark Crystal
Kenan just to let you know BOTH male and female cows can have horns. 🐂🐃🐄
leaving all them dad jokes in your dad a base
Whats the friendliest cyclora say a rhino to a lewisi for color ease of care to keep indoors ? I read they can be litter trained.
Moors the original OG!!!
With some species of cattle, cows (the females) DO have horns like the bulls (males).
👍👍👍❤❤❤🐉🐉🐉
💜💚😍💚💜
I vote for a cow and a donkey!
Mammals are work!!
I used to have rheas but I grew up in Oz so if I were young enough I would now get emus.
Unfortunately, they would now outlive me.
Did you hear that FWC is trying to pass a blanket ban on all iguanas in Florida
All bulls don't have horns and lots of heifers have horns
Hey Kenan I don’t know if you heard but your friend Jerry the one who has the monitors he just lost one black beard just passed away.
question .. for our cameraman aka matt
how do you feel walking around with those giant raptors? XD
And those were YOUNG Cassowaries ! Still under 5 feet tall and no big, hollow cask on top of their heads.
@@sallyrutledge4726I'd be cautious but definitely 😁 would like pictures with both of them
Brians going in to hospice care watch his goodbye video
So why would you want a cassowary if you can’t even interact with them when they’re older?
I'll say this for emus or ostriches -- you know they're being honest when they peck you on the head! Some animals are born ornery!
I don't know about these rheas!

I think Blake had a Badigur that needed a more tanic water like your big pond. If he’s still got it, hopefully he gives it to you
The drawback is it wold be a predator to Kenan's turtles.
@@sallyrutledge4726 Really? Didn’t know that. He does already have a lot of predatory turtles in there
Come on Blake cut the guy a deal on the quail
You showed his phone unlock code. You should edit that out.
1.47 mark.
Kenan you have to google this as a Australian i still laugh at this.. Google the Australian emu war... i don't want to give away the story but its wow...Show it to Blake he will be wat the
How does Blake afford all this
He's an animal hoarder for youtube views and tiktoks. Soon as he gets more money he just expands and buys more animals instead of downsizing a bit to provide more space for a few.
Kenan, polled cattle do not have horns neither the males or females. Some cattle are horned, and both sexes have the horns.
Aren't emus omnivores?
Correct.
PLEASE GET A DONKEYYYYYY
It really bums me out that you are not active your subs and comments. Why comment if you ain’t reviewing or replying. Just saying. Next
