Your videos are EXTREMELY helpful! Why don't your videos have more views?! I have learned more about theory on your channel than I have anywhere else on youtube. Thank you and keep making videos!
I really like your approach to bass instruction. Unlike some other UA-cam bass "teachers" with distinctively British accents, you are strictly business with a clear and calculated plan of lessons focused on the material, which makes it easy to follow and absorb without a lot of annoying distractions...No playing with the dog, no messin' with the kids, no playin' grab ass with the ol' lady, no rides in the country with explanations about how feral cats survive and thrive on the English countryside, nor other endless, and meaningless chatter about absolutely nothing that will help me become a better bass player. All of which left me frantically searching for a good bassist that I could take seriously, and learn the most from his knowledge of the only thing about him that I am really interested in; learning as much as possible about playing the music of the bass guitar in the limited amount of time and exposure available to me. Thank you for your professionalism and your willingness to share your knowledge, abilities, insights and love for the music at the low end of the register! A. Subscriber
This is the only UA-cam channel I have ever really appreciated. Thank you so much! You've almost single-handedly taught me how to play the bass and it is slowly becoming my favorite thing to look forward to in life.
i am confused..i try to figure out the minor scales by the relative major scales..Eb major has C minor as relative but there is a Bb in there whereas here we have a B...?Am i getting this wrong?
Since natural minor is the Aeolian mode of the major scale, you just work your progression through that. So the sequence would be: Minor - Diminished - Major - Minor - Minor - Major - Major You basically just go through the modes, starting at Aeolian, then Locrian, Ionian, and so on.
I released some other videos in between. If you look at the uploaded videos on my channel in order you can see the chronology. It seems weird because the music theory lessons are in a series of their own. The lesson number is relative to the complete catalogue of lessons. Sorry about the confusion.

In which lesson is the Natural Minor Scale covered? You're a great instructor by the way.

Why is this lesson 31 and not 24? I feel like I'm missing something obvious...

It would be really awesome if you put a link to previous lessons if needed to be. It is just too messy and you have more than hundred lessons.
Check out the "playlists" tab on his channel. This whole series is laid out in order there.
work on your bass that fret buzz needs a fix
