Idk but this girl has lost her spark ever since she got married. A few of her previous videos seem like she's going through hell. You can see the pain in her eyes and her energy. One thing narcissists do is psychological warfare. They start by breaking down your self esteem and making you feel as tiny and insignifcant as an ant. I am no one to comment on this and no I don't know them personally, but anyone who has been following her for years can see the massive decline in this once bubbly, giddy, positive, woman. We women are reflections of our man and sis looks sad and I hope it isn't really so. I also hope God intervenes in the best way possible to help her/them. Regardless of what the solution may be. ❤🙌🏼💕🙏🏼

The girl y’all knew before was young, and performing. I now feel no pressure to “show up” and try to be something or someone I’m not. I appreciate the concern here, but my husband has done nothing but help me grow into the woman God has designed me to be. The internet allows us to create fantasy-like opinions about people we don’t know and it’s unfair. I used to do this too. I try to humanize anyone I see or meet because no matter how great we think someone is, it’s just a glimpse into who they are.

I feel like a lot of followers used to notice the “oddness” between this couple years back when they first started doing videos together, they both were heavily denying it, then all of the truth came out in their first podcast & the viewers were not wrong.. not knowing everything, but the intuition was not wrong. I still feel this way too & I feel so bad because I actually like Jade & hopefully the intuition is wrong this time. It’s something that’s just off putting about this dynamic, so I just won’t tune in to the podcast episodes and support her content that resonates with me because I do appreciate some of the content.

I get what you’re saying. He has a VERY overpowering personality almost like a desire to constantly be seen and heard like a child craving attention is the best way to explain it and it def isn’t everyone’s cup of tea as it can come off as obnoxious so i would understand her now seeming meek and tolerant in his presence but if this is the version of herself that she loves then 🤷🏽‍♀️

She traded that “spark” to be a light. 🙌🏾. It’s encouraging that you notice. Thank you . We love you.

As an advocate for Community and mental health provision, i am not a fan of this title. At all. Though i understand it’s provocative nature will garner views i think it reads dangerously and divisively. Mental health practitioners are trained, licensed, skilled and can provide OBJECTIVE insight on subjective issues. Partnership under the name of marriage does not have to insulated. You SHOULD seek guidance if guidance is needed at any and every point of your life AND YES speak to your partner additionally. Therapy is merely a tool. We need those. Not to be used IN LIEU of navigating life but IN ADDITION to. God gave us RESOURCES and ALLY-SHIP that come in a myriad of ways. Isolating ourselves in the name of “taking the training wheels off” is a disservice to ourselves.
This is all just One viewers opinion but i felt very compelled to share.
    May God Bless y’all !

Hey sis. Thank you for this perspective. Prayerfully you continued the episode in its entirety. We shared how therapy is a valuable tool. But not to be relied on when God gave us each other with part of the reason being communication. Sharing. Getting naked mentally, spiritually, and physically.
If I can’t afford therapy, or find one I can trust, does that give the excuse to not choose the path of healing? Everything we need, He gave us already. And you choose the route you take.
Ours started with therapy and our therapists encouraged us to a place where we would not need them. We didn’t realize how powerful that was until we didn’t need them.

As a mental health professional I agree with everything that you shared as well! God uses us therapist to help heal relational dynamics and there are already so many stigmas about going to therapy. Not a tasteful title despite the praise of therapy that was given in the pod

Thank y’all for the perspective of using therapy to get to a healthy place then moving forward without relying on it.

Man this was so relatable! Y’all were preaching when you were talking about obedience, even when it doesn’t look like what you want it to, but just going with the last thing He told you to do. Thank y’all so much for sharing!

Missing working with you all during season 2 but so happy you are in a space together where you are 100% comfortable with being transparent with no one else in the room.

I also agree with what you said that this is not a substitute for therapy. Because for some, like yourselves, therapy was the help you all needed. However, for my wife Season 1 of y’all’s podcast was her therapy and for the The Memo Bible study group (community) is my therapy. The point I am trying to make and what I do eloquently gathered from your message is that, life is not meant to done alone. Get you some help from a wherever God sends you.

Oh this is very well executed!!! God places people, things in our lives to help move us forward but we can’t be so reliant on it that we miss the opportunities he has for us because our being comfortable.

    I love a God-centered marriage.
When God is at the center of a marriage, there is a strong foundation of love, trust, and spiritual connection that can sustain and strengthen the relationship. ❤️
Continue living out biblical values in your union.
