I sometimes like to go on the internet archive and load pages from the late 90s and early 00s just to see all the good things load instantly. At those times I am living the dream.
I used to be terrified of spiders and to my shame and embarrasment, at one point I was getting my ex wife's new husband to rescue them - until the day I realised some of them were ending up with only three or four legs after he'd finished, so I felt sorry for them and decided to learn to face my fear - I'd stare at one for half an hour until my ears stopped making the buzzing noise that always accompanies my fear of insects and (arachnoids?) - then I'd move closer until I could just "admire" it, or pretend to I guess - then I started doing the same with DEAD spiders, until I could pick them up - then finally I learned to try to pick up live ones and let them walk over me - That was when I realised it's HARD to get one on your hand cause they sense the heat - I only panicked a bit when one ran up my arm and over my hair and disappeared down my back - I didn;t want to crush it accidentally.
The spiders in my house are HUGE things and although my fear has come back over the years, I just leave them alone unless they're threatening to drop down on me lol! My Mum used to bring spiders in from outside, saying they're our friends for catching flies, but I was never convinced.
My fear of women is even worse though, despite having three sisters lol! Maybe cause I'm an aspie, I dunno - pity I can't pull the same trick as I did with spiders but I imagine it's harder to get a woman to let me stare at her for half an hour until I feel comfortable picking her up. Needles to say I've never tried it.
Jen lying to impress people is a running joke regarding her, as is her dates/flings quickly going wrong.
The correct way of saing it is 'Have you tried forcing an unexpected reboot?
You see, the driver hooks the function by patching the system call table. So it's not safe to unload it unless another thread's about to jump in there and do its thing, and you don't want to end up in the middle of invalid memory :)
I've heard a few people say that in this ep, Jen is attracted to Roy - but I don't see it.
I used to be a tarantula breeder (I kept hundreds) and I can confidently say that, in general, men are more afraid of spiders than women. the level of terror is not even comparable XD trust me on this
Tarantulas are venomous & are far worse & larger than regular spiders.

@@MeganRuth A tarantula is very different to a typical, non-venomous spider!
@@DavidZ4-gg3dm you are very correct that people often view tarantulas differently compared to true spiders. but from my experience with other invertebrates and "creepy crawlies" it really isn't any different when it comes down to it.
men pretend to be hard but when they actually come face to face with their phobias the meltdowns tend to be on a whole different level compared to women.
just my experience and a generalization of course.
Megan, you don't mind if a spider crawls across you, or drops on you from the ceiling?
It depends which spider. Usually the ones in the UK are pretty harmless
