Quick question! I saw on your Amazon store front you listed the Velcro straps & a video capture card. What are you using these for? I thought the digitnow used an SD card to transfer the vids to your phone/laptop?
You’re right. I added the velcro straps just to organize the rca cables alongside the handle. The digitnow is for SD transfer. The video capture is for tape transfer. I just added it because there are people who still use tape.
@@DuztinCruz okay thank you so much! I’m in the processes of ordering my supplies so I wasn’t sure if these were going to be essential accessories for the set up
This is great!! Is the quality still 'generated' by tape i.e. is it like retro style and might have some artefacts or because of recording to SD all is well flawless as far as such retro can be flowless ??
there is a difference between the tape vs tapeless method, however it's easily fixable with editing. the tape has more sharpening, so the raw tapeless version looks softer and more digital than the regular tape, however by applying a simple Unsharp Mask (or regular sharpening filter, but the unsharp mask creates a more iconic effect) and by tweaking the settings a bit you can get the same exact look as the tape version but without the hassle of using actual tape!
@@latabledusalon I’ve heard others having glitches as well, they say using thicker rca cables fixed the problem. Also, it may depend on how well you convert the .avi to .mp4
using the same camcorder. Thanks for this 🙏
Which one is this?

Crazy how I have all these things
Kinda good idea, if you get one of those and you can’t get the tape mechanism to work at all you can still use one of these
I know a opteka ninja fisheye when i see one
those are hard to find nowadays (at least I couldn't find a single one!)
@@Bleats_Sinodai nah they are just out of stock rn, they pop back up on ebay for 30 buch every once in a while
@@Bleats_Sinodai i literally come across them every other day, maybe more expensive than before but not any more than 20 bucks more

Que usas para capturarla y pasar a sd?
Melhor comprar uma câmera 4k
thank you so so much for the video, I am considering purchasing but was wondering if you could tell me how good its worked for you.
This rig is decent and it does the job, but you are getting what you pay for. There is a difference in video quality.

Plus what that other guy said, you won't get artifacts or "glitches" like a tape being played back but that's another thing you can add back
Wait can you pause when recording tape less because some make a new file when you hit the rec button again
Tapeless starts a new file each time

rocking the same digital converter but for some odd reason i get a loud buzzing noise whenever i try to connect my audio cables into it. Any insight?
Make sure all connections are fully seated. Try different cables. Use a different source of output to see if the problem persists.
Bro i have all these but i cant even edit my footage bc its in AVI and its not support in vidéo editors 😢
I convert my .avi to .mp4 then I edit
@@DuztinCruz yes but when i converted there were a lot of glitches on the video and sound goes out, do you know why ?

Tapeless? No S-video? With Hi8 XR?? This hurts me...
I use tape and s-video. Tapeless wouldn’t hurt that bad once in awhile.
