I suspect it's because your dustpan has a bigger and more obvious drop than the people you've seen. It usually keeps the dirt in, but it also fucks with your flow

Those detailed paintings are on flat pans, with a handle at 90° so they don't have to angle the pan to get the paint off.

Knowing what Rob is like I’m surprised he didn’t get an old dustpan that was full of dust and use that 😂
Maybe a different ratio for the flow medium would keep the shapes for longer enough to pour them
Maybe something less liquidy?
There's this stuff called Floetrol that is specifically for making the paint more fluidy.
@@digitalmindy7598 can confirm, have successfully used Floetrol (from Lowes/Home Depot) for acrylic paint pouring. Also, Rob needs some clear varnish/mod podge spray or something to paint over the canvasses after, makes the art "pop" bettter.
I love that you don't just show us the successes and still upload this experimental art. Thanks for keeping it real, I'm happy to see you trying new things!
I actually really like the way the skull one turned out. It didn't look like a skull but it gave me some kind of feelings
Maybe make the base layer thinner and the top image thicker paint? so it kinda slides off the thin layer?

It probably isn't the image you were going for, but I can see a lady, with a third eye on her forehead, smiling menacingly as she's fades away.

Agree! I see some kind of hellish creature, with the snout/beak being the lower left part, and the upper part is its crown or something.

You don't know how awesome it is to see you upload again! Also, I think what went wrong with drawing pictures was that your dustpan has a lip on the end that stops the paint from falling off and makes the painting squish and mix together

I would like to see Rob do diamond painting. It seems kind of tedious, and I haven't fully understood how it works. An most importantly I am curious what you would do to some of glittery fun childrens motives.
It's no more tedious than regular colouring in, knitting or crochet! I have recently got into diamond painting, it's really simple. There's a canvas with glue all over it, and you pick gems up one at a time with either tweezers or the regular tool - which is a 'pen' shaped thing with some sticky wax at the tip - and place them in the corresponding areas. The gem packets are numbered and the areas on the canvas are numbered, so you follow with the right colours like a Paint By Numbers.
I feel like he's far too chaotic for something so neat and orderly.... Lol

Starting off the year right! This is proof that beauty is in the eye of the beholder because I loved all of ‘em, especially the skull. But, if you’re open to trying it again, there is acrylic flow medium that might give you better control.
Im 24 and I used to pretend to be sick once in a while when I was younger so I could stay home and binge watch your UA-cam videos. You guys were the inspiration for me to learn to use a sewing machine

I saw an artist at a craft show this winter who did paint pours and they had a TON of resin, glass, rocks, etc. that they put on the table underneath and then let the excess paint cover them. Then they turned those pieces into jewelry (earrings, pendants, etc.). It was pretty cool and a way to not waste quite as much paint.
I honestly loved the last two, those were the trippiest ones. Ik that they didn’t do the thing you wanted but I really liked them! Judge them for what they are! Not what they’re supposed to be!
