I am 55 and have not worn makeup in ten years, because of working in a very dusty warehouse. ( prior to this I was in sales makeup was applied all day) At first I loved not wearing it. Now, when I wear it I don't feel like I am doing it right. This has been so helpful to bridge my makeup knowledge gap. Lisa, Thank you for suggesting products in many price ranges. I personally will spend more on skin care than eye shadow.
I don't usually leave compliments on makeup tutorials, but I really love this one! I love that you demo with cost effective products (I'm a big fan of the ones you show here), and "break" rules like no glitter on eyelids after a certain age and no liner under the eye (which I also do, although I always feel guilty -- thanks for the validation). You look wonderful. Thank you!

@@martaa1147 hi. I am 52. I’ve been wearing it like that since my teens the only difference is I put a little less and not as thick but I still think it framed the eye nicely if you do it correctly
Same, and I use a smoky blends line myself in a medium neutral tone. I have green eyes, and one of my go-too liners is a muted khaki green, which reads as a neutral. I use a vegan pencil from a couple of different manufacturers.

Your skin is beautiful! I didn’t notice any pigmentation. I have some aging freckles that are fading now, I have been using bakuchi oil for a couple of years. It was discovered to be useful in treating vitiligo, and it doesn’t make the skin photo sensitive like Retin-a.

So happy to have found you, I haven't worn make up in about 5 yrs, mainly cuz i don't have long eyelashes, and none on the bottom, yours are so long, are they real? I love this 5 minute look, thank you for sharing
They are real, I did use a lash serum for a while, and it did help my lashes grow top and bottom. But I stopped about five months ago, and a lot of them have fallen out, and they have gotten shorter and thinner again 🤪
I learned makeup in the 80's. This is how we did it back then. Going "glam" meant 2 colors on the eyes and 2 coats mascara! I even smudged my eyeliner with my fingers!
New to your videos! I'm enjoying them and your tips. I would love to see a video focusing on "mature" eyelashes, addressing sparse areas on the lower lash line, the right mascara brands and formulas, and to use or not use false lashes!
I will always do it as well, and a super light coat mascara on the bottom as well, I can not get past the appearance of an unfinished look when there is no mascara on the lower lash line
Ever since I discovered your make up channel I feel great about trying on new things and I especially loved this particular video because I do not have much time to put make up on. I am excited to try that Lancome stick that you used. I have already purchased a couple of the Elf products after watching you use them. It validates my purchases! Thank Goodness that finally someone does makeup light and natural. I have always been subtle with my makeup and get lots of compliments. I love your hair color. Do you do it yourself at home or is this salon color? What color is it? Thanks
@@LisaMonique I am 72 and have very little gray hair. I have never colored my brown hair either. I know women who have been coloring their hair since they were teenagers and got gray in their 30's. I have always thought that those hair dye chemicals were harmful to hair and health as well. That is why they say not to color your hair when you are pregnant because it is harmful to the baby. Great video. I love the natural look and really don't like the women who put 4 shades of eyeshadow on their lids. It doesn't look natural.
I stopped doing under the eye makeup about 20 years ago, and even when I try it now, it seems to age me when I try it. On me, I get a more youthful eye by only doing my lids. I like all her other tips though.

Great video I’m a beginner so easy to follow
Love it!! Thank you 💕🧡!! My full face is the natural barely there look too. That teint idole stick looks wonderful.
It’s really fast and I love the finish! Thanks for being here again 💕💕💕💕
Is there a more affordable stock you might recommend?
So happy to have found you, I haven't worn make up in about 5 yrs, mainly cuz i don't have long eyelashes, and none on the bottom, yours are so long, are they real? I love this 5 minute look, thank you for sharing
They are real, I did use a lash serum for a while, and it did help my lashes grow top and bottom. But I stopped about five months ago, and a lot of them have fallen out, and they have gotten shorter and thinner again 🤪
Thanks for all your tutorials. Just found you here. I just turned 60 and find as I’ve gotten older changing out some makeup does work in my favor.
I learned makeup in the 80's. This is how we did it back then. Going "glam" meant 2 colors on the eyes and 2 coats mascara! I even smudged my eyeliner with my fingers!
Love the 80s and the purple and pink eye shadow 😉
Love your haircut
Just beautiful, your hair is so nice, shiny,I love your Bangs, you look so young and fresh....
New to your videos! I'm enjoying them and your tips. I would love to see a video focusing on "mature" eyelashes, addressing sparse areas on the lower lash line, the right mascara brands and formulas, and to use or not use false lashes!
Thanks!
I will always do it as well, and a super light coat mascara on the bottom as well, I can not get past the appearance of an unfinished look when there is no mascara on the lower lash line
Sending Love ❤️...Diane...Are you single?❤️😊
Very helpful video for me as I never makeup. Thanks for sharing.
I really like how you do the makeup Lisa, . As well I am, in Canada!
Ever since I discovered your make up channel I feel great about trying on new things and I especially loved this particular video because I do not have much time to put make up on. I am excited to try that Lancome stick that you used. I have already purchased a couple of the Elf products after watching you use them. It validates my purchases! Thank you for all of the great tips.
I'm wearing the Lancôme stick today! I just LOVE how easy it is to apply and the coverage and how it sits on my skin. It will definitely be in my Holy Grails of 2021 video!!!
Thank you Mrs. Lisa, I need to go to buy some stuff showing me. Have a great day !
You're beautiful! And your video is so helpful!
Thank Goodness that finally someone does makeup light and natural. I have always been subtle with my makeup and get lots of compliments. I love your hair color. Do you do it yourself at home or is this salon color? What color is it? Thanks
It's still my natural hair color 😊💕😊💕
I'm also fifty five and this make up trick is good for me. Becoz I'm working woman and everyday it takes more time but this is the best way for me short and sweet. 👌👏😊
Hey Lisa! Glad to see your recovery is going well! Just learned Estee came out with a DW Sheer. Are planning a review :)
Tomorrow 😉. How are things in VA?
Are you kidding Lisa? You are already awesome, you can just get up from your bed, and then, let the world embrace you. thanks for the video you are always lovely, bless you.
Gorgeous features!
Thanks so much Lisa. This really helped me.
Well I didn't really have any 5min tips before I watched this video, but I do now!🤗
Great upload!
Thanks for the tips about how to handle brows that want to stay down!

It's Elf Lip Plumping Gloss $6 Mocha Twist. I had a type in my description all these months that said it was the blush, 😂😂😂
Thank you so much..enjoy your videos..I learn so much..👍👍
Help. What’s a good mask. And thanks for answering my other question
I will be honest I don’t use a lot of facemasks. I do like that City Beauty Hydro mask as a super hydrating one.
