I'm several years late but this makeup routine blows my mind. I'm a perfectionist and in the past have spent 20+ minutes on my makeup, and it always feels like such a chore. I've managed to get my routine down to 10 minutes for just an everyday polished look I'm happy with, which is amazing in itself, but getting it down to 5 minutes is my goal.
Dominique, a friend introduced me to you because I was preparing for a speaking engagement and had no idea how to use makeup. I so appreciate your candor, positive outlook and beautiful spirit. If I feel a bit down, I watch you so I can get inspired :)

You know what? This is my every day "full-on" makeup and I'm glad that you value and acknowledge this simplistic style that many of us wear on a day to day basis (instead of the full on Instagram looks) and more often than not bring out the best in us and let us shine without looking too overdone. Btw. this simple makeup look would also pass as a typical french-style makeup. ;)

Yes, I agree the other day I went to the clinic and there was a nurse with Instagram makeup!! There's always a place and time for certain type of makeup look.😊

Whew, that’s what I was thinking, too, except I often go without makeup as well!
I love this! I get up early and I try to get every bit of rest possible.
For me- moisturizer, corrector here and there, the eyebrow, lashes (mine are blonde naturally so I use a soft black on the top lashes), bronze and/or a peachy blush, a soft gloss. I didn’t use liner on my eyes but I do like a small amount of shadow.

Here in the Houston area, we've watched Dominique Sachse for about twenty years if I remember correctly - dating back to those blouses with huge bows. She is always charming and real and what shines about her is her giving, compassionate nature. She's kind of a local treasure.
I love her make up tips. I'm about the same age, so I know if I incorporate eyeshadow or contour she recommends, I'm not going to look too old for it! Everything is reasonably priced and she shows you exactly how to apply it. She's helped me with things I wasn't familiar with. (I hate you, false eyelashes but had to wear them in Puerto Vallarta.) Sigh, okay gripe over. Keep up the great videos please and thank you, Dominique.
Terrific video this week Dominique! BTW, after your review of the Thrive mascara, I purchased some and it is absolutely wonderful. Gives long lashes, and then taking it off is a breeze without creating raccoon eyes.

Love this! 💕 This is pretty much my out-the-door work look with a colouring in of either a Bobbi Brown or Nars creme eyeshadow stick. Foolproof and easily blended in 3-5 seconds! I am no good with bronzer but a blush works well. Thankfully I don’t have to see clients, patients or customers but I do look polished enough for the office. Weekends I am always make-up free.

I loved this video, as usual! I’m a doctor and have no time almost everyday, but I never quit my “in a hurry” make up (and sunscreen, the most important)… this flatters a lot our looks, when we’re wearing scrubs (pajamas 😅)… love from Brazil 😘🥰❤️🌹

Truth in advertising! I love that you timed it. It bugs me to see tutorials that claim to get you "out-the-door" in 10 minutes, but start with their skincare, primer and foundation already applied and THEN still take at least 15 minutes to complete their look.
Great video. Love you back in the bathroom. I am retired & like the idea of a simple look. I never tried the It Cosmetics powder, I just use their Color Correcting with the spf foundation. Might give it a try. Hopefully it doesn't look drying because I have dry skin.
Hi Dominque, please consider a video on how to determine the correct color palette for an individual. So you’ve given us the how to apply makeup instructions, what brushes to use, lotions and potions; my biggest challenge is what colors to use together that best highlight my skin tone, etc. Thank you!

I absolutely adore you! I came across your channel today and I can't stop watching. It is such a breath of fresh air to see such a graceful, professional woman on UA-cam. I love this minimal makeup look and will be putting this to use. Currently, I am off of work due to being 36 weeks pregnant (woohoo!) Thank you for sharing this tutorial. I have rarely worn makeup in my life, except for special occasions. I am now 52 and finding that I want to wear some concealer, for certain areas of my face, mascara & liner but not much else due to my hooded eyes (eye shadow is not always my friend, it seems to age me) imo...you and a few others I have been watching have really inspired me to try more.

My first time seeing this woman. Firstly, she is absolutely beautiful. In my opinion, she looks perfectly fine and even perfectly professional without make-up. In fact, I have some doubt that she was even really completely without at the start. She kind of looks like my mother, who is also very beautiful and a professional and has worn make-up her entire adult life. So, I think if you wear it nearly daily for so many years, when you wash your face, you kind of really never look like you're not wearing any make-up. Also, I think it's those "freckles" that make a person unique and i see no reason to have to "connect the dots." I actually feel sad that we women have been so conditioned by society to think we aren't pretty enough in our natural state, or even that being "pretty" is a requirement for being in the work force or attracting a mate. But, I guess that's all a 'whole 'nother story,' as they say.
On the make-up part and lips, I just want to say a personal pet peeve of mine is shiny lips. Ugh. I find it so distracting and actually kind of gross. And this lady with her gorgeous full lips ... the very LAST thing she should be putting on them is something shiny. Takes her lips right off her face and little else can be noticed. MY opinion only, and I'm just a no-make-up wearing mature lady. Though, I do wear a slight bit of mascara (and i really mean slight; just on the tips of the lashes) because I perform on stage and eyes do not come out on camera at a distance without a little help.

I'm a Teacher, NOT a morning person and have to get up at 5:30 am, so I don't have the time for full on make up. I just turned 54 and noticed the bags and black circles under my eyes are getting really bad. I decided I finally need to start wearing a little makeup to keep me looking fresh. The most I ever wear is mascara and under eye cover up. I was searching for an easy everyday kinda look, and you nailed it! Thank you for a beautifully done video and the product suggestions!
Dominique, you're beautiful without makeup. I appreciate the minimalistic approach. Often while juggling work, school, and family I don't always have time for a full c=face of color. I must admit that I had not thought about using a bronzer.

My minimal look intales bb-cream, maybe some consealer, eyebrows filled in, eyeliner (kohl pencil, because I don't have to be neat and I can easily correct mistakes by blending it a bit), mascara and a simple lipbalm or coconut oil. When I pull out a little extra, I use my eyebrow pensil as an eyeshadow for a slight smokey look before I smack on my eyeliner, blend it well, and ready! In guaranteed just a few minutes. Pretty much my go to look for work, to look nice for friends and family etc. Easy & quick.

I love the two-minute makeup routine! This is so helpful to me! I do the full makeup even on Saturdays without even thinking about toning it down some. I will give this a try! I like the idea of just using eyeliner and mascara only on the upper eyes. I don't wear eyeliner because I didn't like how it looks on me. I'm going to try just using it on the upper eyes and see how it looks. Thank you for these helpful tips! Blessings to you and your family!

I'll let you know! I just ordered it from Ulta so I should be getting it in a few days. I do have a question about the eye area. I noticed you use Vichy Lift Activ Eyes and the Coffee Bean Eye Cream from 100% pure. Do you use both of these products at the same time or do you use one at night and one during the day? I have dark circles, bags, crows feet and the hooded eye so I am trying to find products that will help me to tone this "hot mess" down! Haha! I do appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I have learned a lot from you.
I feel the hair is number one, before makeup If it looks good (not dirty or messy) it makes all of the difference.

Love this and love the IT foundations! Here in MN I reverse what you do- powder for the hot sticky summer when I get shiny, cream for the dry cold winter to help keep moisturized. Haven’t tried their eyeliner tho, I’ll have to pick some up! So elegant & simple.

Best lip balm/ gloss ever:C. O. Bigelow. Super conditioning, natural looking and long lasting. It keeps lips moist even through a meal, but do need to reapply for more shine. I take a lot of medicine that dries my lips, but this works.
