- In this video I show you how to solve all 10 cases for 2-Look OLL, which is a two-step process for solving the third step of CFOP - the most popular 3x3 speedcubing method. In 2-Look, the OLL cross is solved first and then the OLL corners. The cross step has 3 cases, and the corners step as 7 different cases. By learning these 10 cases, you can significantly reduce your solve times and have the potential to reach sub 12 seconds or lower.

For the "l" shaped case you can also just repeat the algorithm used for the line 2 times and it works. I honestly feel more comfortable doing that instead of moving 2 layers

when making the cross you can do the line alg for all of the cases. just hold the L shape in the top left and preform the alg twice. Same for the dot but preform it another time. probably better to learn the algs in the video but this is better if you struggle with learning algs.

I think this video is missing a case: it's like the L CASE but with the yellow sides on the left and top instead of bottom and right. Does anyone know the alg for that?

Another fun way to solve the h case is to spin the top so any of the yellow headlights are facing you and do the sexy move 3 times

For some reason for every case after the yellow cross once I did the algorithm and it just changes the case do you know why?

Hi Paradox, I am a bit confused when doing this, as in your videos you already have all the corners solved on the top layer after you do 2 look OLL and I can't get it to happen, so how do you do that?
are you just following it or doing the cube notations as shown on the top?

@@theperson8156 i just follow his movements and do the notations at the same time, because i usually fail when doing notations alone or following the movements
Make sure you’re holding the cube in the same orientation that I show. Do you end up with a different OLL, or just missing 1 corner? If you’re missing 1 in the end then you have a corner twist.
@@ParadoxCubing I have trying but what I mean is that I don't have all the others colours corners solved and like the beginners method I still need to orientate all the top layer corners

at 3:30 if you want to be more advanced you could do F R U R' U' S R U R' U' f'. It substitutes the F f' for an S move.
at 5:21 you could have U R U2 R' U' R U' R'. It flows better for me.
for the antisune case, its actually called back antisune, its good to preserve a bar on the left side if there is one, preserving it gives you a better chance to get an easier pll because most of the good ones have a bar/block somewhere, but you dont need this if you still use 2 look pll
When it comes to the yellow cross there's more than two cases, what I'm talking about is the yellow color that's on the corner piece that facing outwards.

An algorithm a day, keeps the slow solves away
Does it matter if I don't do all of OLL because I can do other methods faster? Or should I learn all of OLL?
You should learn all of these 2-look OLL algorithms. Start one by one until you know them all. Then always use these to solve OLL. Once you’re comfortable with that, start learning the rest of the 57 OLL algs. Keep doing 2-look when you get cases you don’t know. Take your time with it, and slowly you’ll get faster thanks to all the OLL algs you know.

the 3 cross cases is very easy to remember because it's similar to the beginner's method.. the problem is the last 7 cases..
How do you practice these algs over and over again without having to solve F2L before each alg?
Keep executing the same alg starting from a solved OLL state. You’ll know it’s working fine when you see other OLL cases (even if it’s not the one you’re looking for) Eventually if you keep repeating you’ll get the case you were solving for.
Basically just practice executing the algorithm, don’t worry about what the cube looks like.

You can use another algorithm. Have the yellow face you and do F triple sexy F'.
H and the PI cases are the most common
