2-Look PLL Tutorial | Beginner CFOP Speedcubing
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 сер 2022
- PLL is the final step of CFOP - the fastest Rubik's cube speedcubing method. In this video I show you all 6 algorithms needed to solve PLL in 2 steps every time (perfect for beginner CFOP).
After you get the hang of 2-Look PLL, move on to Full (1-Look) PLL that has 21 algorithms (you already know 6 of them now! - T-perm, Y-perm, Ua-perm, Ub-perm, H-perm and Z-perm).

If you're having trouble memorizing these long algorithms, check out this video I made on *How To Memorize Cubing Algorithms FAST* : ua-cam.com/video/dd1q7hJqD7Q/v-deo.html 😀
i learnt this algoritams with no tutorial
My way of doing to look was basically if you have swapped edges, swap them using Jperm. And once all edges are in the correct position just do corner swapping like how you do it in Megamix.
Bro this guy tutorials are the best. Others are for professional but this guy makes the beginners professionals
Everyone knows JPerm and he even taught me the beginner method but this guy is way better at explaining everything I wish i knew of him last year
same
same
J perm is too fast for people trying to learn. I mean that guy has talent but he doesn’t teach that well
Same
Yeah
Timestamps for myself:
2:49 - Counter clockwise edges
3:36 - Clockwise edges
4:12 - H perm
5:07 - Z perm
I used it
I didn’t
1:04 adjacent corner swap
2:09 diagonal corner swap
3:08 counter clockwise edge cycle
3:50 clockwise edge cycle
4:34 h-perm
5:22 z-perm
0:41 Adjacent corner swap (T Perm) (Recognized by headlights)
1:46 Diagonal corner swap (Y Perm) (Recognized by no headlights)
2:52 Counter clockwise edge cycle (Ua Perm)
3:33 Clockwise edge cycle (Ub Perm)
4:17 H Perm
5:16 Z Perm
I made this so I don't have to wonder around the video
What a chad for doing this
Ty
Why no jperm :(
@@minjaetv it's not included in 2look pll, you learn jperms in full pll (21 algs)
Ty
thank you for this! i’ve been wanting to learn beginner cfop for a while and you explain it so easily. tysm!
I knew the first 2 from 2 x 2 Ortega PLL. But it’s an amazing guide. I watched the whole beginner CFOP series and it helped so much
Wow I'm learning fast because of ur explanations some are just not this good I'm glad I found ur channel
where was this video when i needed it this is the easiest tutorial ive ever seen
thank you for making the CFOP videos it helped me a lot
the explaining was so good I understood pll so quickly
Wow. Today was the most productive cubing day. Learned all cfop from you. Subscribed for sure!
This guy makes it so much easier. I have struggled with this but with ur video I got it immediately. Thank you so much❤
me to❤
@@user-gn7mo6te3l *too
I was waiting for so much time to watch this video
Great video mate 🎉
Excellent. I can see how this is faster than the beginner method, and I can almost follow the logic of whats happening
Thx so much I have followed from the beginning to end and have understood everything
Wow! Your tutorials are awesome I learned cfop with your tutorials
I watched ur other 2 cfop begginer vids today and then u release this
TYSM BRO YOUR THIS IS THE BEST TUTORIAL EVER !!!
YESSS THANK YOU! So clesr
This was really helpful thanks
Amazing tutorial 🙏
Thank you ❤this help so mucg
you taught me everything I know about Rubik's cubing now I can solve one under 20 seconds
Dude thank u so much man
thank you so much ur a lifesaver
so useful
I'm just now learning PLL and thank you so much for this video, this is just what I needed to learn PLL because Jperm is bad at explaining things but this is really helpful and easy also the algorithms are satisfying
yeah i did see how jperm missed some stuff and made it complicated
The finger tricks in the video are 💩 tho
thanks for the video it is really going to help me alot with getting faster thanks
Hi! Thank you ur tutorials r sooo clear!! But is difficult to learn the oll n pll algs even wen they r two look.
Anyway, thank you so much!!!😁😁
I love how you explained that by tracking a pair of f2L pieces makes it easier to understand what you are doing.
Same
u legit have the best tutorials ilysm 😭
Top teir and so much better than jperms tutorial
If I'm not mistaken you did M and M' as the same move, both going clockwise. Shouldn't M' be counter-clockwise?
just 2 months ago, i was writing down algs from this video, and now i somehow know full pll, just came back to see how trash i was back then
Whenever I do the adjacent corner swap I never get the green side solve idk if it matters but I can't solve it
Dude i love your vids becuz of u i am learning cfop
Thank you very much now I am the fastes chid in my school
3:06 Counter-clockwise
3:43 Clockwise
Thanks i did a 57 sec solve in school earlier using cfop im so close :D
My average is 1:10+ not very good but i will make progress see ya after a few days =D
Nice! Keep us posted on your progress.
i struggle with the pll perm algorithms so much! i haven’t gotten a speed cube yet and it’s rlly difficult for me to turn the middle section and i keep messing up the algorithms 😭
Guys di you have any tips on memorizing z perms?
Can you do diagonal corner swap from any position?
Yup!
the case he had in the intro was the exact same case i had down to the colors and everything
Adjacent corner swap (headlights) 0:37
Diagonal corner swap 1:46
Counter clockwise edge cycle 2:53
Clockwise edge cycle 3:34
H perm 4:17
Z perm 5:16
should i learn pll of oll first ? i know some cases for both but i think i'll learn one first then the other
Learn 2-look OLL, 2-look PLL, full PLL, full OLL in that order. You can start learning full oll and pll at the same time too
@@ParadoxCubing alr thanks
only 103K? you deserve better
For the Z-perm, when u do the M' it's like R. Not like R'. How come it is like that? Or am i missing something?
It’s just how the notation is. M’ follows L’ direction.
Is it just me or is this the best tutorial?
It’s just you
for edge chcle cant u do m2 r m and .... ( cant memorize rest)
what do you do if after oll one of the other sidesthat arent yellow or white are solved?
Treat that solved side as a pair of headlights. Ignore the extra solved edge in the middle.
h perm can also be done wihout prime moves (M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2)
you are help me for CFOP
I can see that you've done the h- perm correctly however the formula displayed is incorrect it should be M2 U' M2 U2' M2 U' M2
after 1 year
i still remember
Dam i memorized cfop 90% a few more methods and practice then i can do beginner cfop!
i got a Z perm but only for one pair so is it like an algorithm for full PLL
No if you only have 2 edges on the cube that need to be swapped, that’s an impossible case. The cube must have been disassembled and reassembled incorrectly. You’ll have to reassemble the cube to fix that case.
@@ParadoxCubing ohhh ok thank you must have been my brother who was playing with it last week
you guys have any tips on how do I memorize the algorithms faster?
Keep doing the algorithm
Or make a list of the algorithms you don't know
What I did is I did the algorithms each 3-5 times and then tried to do as much as I could from memory (looking back at the video if I needed to), and did that a few times until I got it into my memory
Ah freak that really for me trying I even wrote down everything and I managed to learn the F2L but it's really hard to memorize all the PLL algorithms especially because of u do it wrong u have to do the whole thing again compared to F2L
Take your time and learn them one at a time! It will be worth it :)
Whenever i dobthe same thing as you say in pll or oll it gets scrambeld up
I do the
help for my self:
adjacent corner swap 1:01
diagonal corner swap 2:03
counter clockwise edge cycle 3:04
clockwise edge cycle 3:43
h perm 4:23
z perm 5:17
Corners:
0:40 - Adjacent corner swap (Headlights)
1:43 - Diagonal corner swap
Edges:
2:55 - Counter clockwise edge cycle
3:33 - Clockwise edge cycle
4:18 - H-perm
5:10 - Z-perm
Ty bro
Is PLL like that?
whe i learn an algorithm i forget it while learning another one its so annoying
Take your time and practice each one thoroughly before moving onto the next! Revisit each alg everyday to make sure you don’t forget them. Hope this helps :)
i hate this the first 2 edge solves do not work and put me into the same thing i have to do it 3 times and then do a z perm just to do anything
28 SEC PB AND MY NORMAL SOLVES ARE AROUND 40 TO 50 PLUS LES GOOOOO
Ur better than J perm no offence to J perm 😅
How do i practice an algorithm??? Its random everytime
you should practice it while looking in the algorithms and when you feel like youre getting used to it then try solving without looking at the algorithms, it will just become a muscle memory
Performing the algorithm on a solved cube will give you the case
Great vid, one question. I can't find any PLL vids that show the 2 look PLL algorithim for when an edge is completed, but no corners are if that makes sense. I know the beginner alg for this that starts R' F R' F B2 It feels like there should be 3 edge cycle algs for 2 look PLL. Anyone got any ideas
Thats one look PLL
All of the Alg’s are advance pll algs
not really
its not technically “advanced” cause there are multiple algs for certain things but some get used for full pll its not that there advanced its just that there good algs like u use adjacent corner swap for t perm in full pll its a good alg sothere isnt many alternatives and the ua perm here has more algs to use like with m moves or the s version so they arent neccesarily “advanced
full pll is just putting all edges and corners in there correct spots with one alg 2 look is using 1 alg to solve corners and 1 alg to solve edges but the corners can be solved sometimes so u use the same algs in full pll or u can learn alternitaves whichever ones fit better
Well, yes, but it uses them more plentifully to use only 6 instead of 21
All those algs brought me from 1:30 solves to 0:25 - 0:35. Just memorize them
In h-perm should be M2 U’ M2 U2’ M2 U’ M2
1:10
He teach more cleaner than Jperm wow
5:20
3:06
i was doing the counter clockwise edge cycle twice and i somehow heard "Are you prime? Are you? Are you again?"
R U' = Are You Prime lol
3:30
wait the z perm is m' or m
I though I was the fastest person in my family when solving a Rubik’s cube but it turns out my Grandpa can solve it in 16 seconds😅
Lol😅😅😅
NO WAY THIS GUY HAD THE SAME SCRAMBLE AS ME LOL
LOL WHILE WATCHING THIS VIDEO I JUST GOT A LL SKIPXD
Do u mean 5? Not 6 aligrtioms
Lol (not to the youtuber)
Dum (not to youtuber)
Ha not to (youtuber)
Average became 30 plus after practicing moves and etc. I'm close
3rd
4th
Hey u dont have to learn dingsonal swap
5th
Z perm is weeeeiiiiirrrrrrdddddd 😂
2nd
Please give 1 like for video, this is to easy solving method
Sorry. I think your first one is wrong?
Yes it collapsed my solved pieces
I already know advanced cfop
First
How
Nice
i give up
2:03
worse tutrio i ever used got me from 46 sec to1min
