Ty So much for this tutorial, I was pretty nervous at first, since I've never taken apart my odin 2 before, but following your tutorial helped me so much. I'd say the scariest and most difficult part was placing the rubber membrane back on over the buttons, but other than that it went pretty smoothly. 👍
Honestly this is the easiest device I've ever worked on I've taken apart laptops, phones and desktops that weren't this easy. I did do a longer guide for this too I just need to edit the video as it took approx. 45 minutes.

I still however find it unnerving at some point every time lol. I absolutely love my Odin 2, it's the greatest handheld I've ever owned and knowing it's simple to work on makes me like it that much more. Thanks again for all your amazing content!

The PSX buttons are slick! I advertised it as PS2 because they look more like PS2 to me I guess even PSP/PSVita lol. The PSX had more grey style buttons I still own a PS1/2/4 I should set them up as they literally sit in a plastic tote box .
Ha I have big-ish hands too but I've also been doing this sort of stuff for a long long time. The Odin 2 is really simple to tear down, once you get the back open it's really not that hard just smaller screws. Make sure you get a decent kit too don't use cheap tools from the dollar store or anything. I remember many years ago I would buy screwdrivers from the dollar store and didn't realize the benefit of the $40 kits I now own.
Well these are custom made by Sakura I tried asking Ayn if they would do custom buttons or put white buttons instead of black but they wouldn't do it. So I thought this would be a good giveaway option ;D
This is awesome! I personally prefer the Nintendo layout. It’s what I’m least used to, so it helps . But the look of the ps buttons is undeniably sleek.

I ordered the Xbox ones after and shared this video with Sakura Retro before releasing it. So can't wait for the Xbox ones because I want throw them in my Blue Odin and do something else to it.

Everyone is having this issue with even the Retroids, but don't worry the game is literally trash look at the rating on it 🤣 I played it for 5 minutes on my phone and felt like I was playing a game from the early 2000s. Plus the lag and gameplay I can't believe I was pre-registered for that game for almost 2 years!

Yeah it's actually not to hard, I've taken the Odin 2 apart a couple times now so it gets easier.
