Oh, my goodness, this is GREAT! I make tie dye items, and there is the occasional "ugly" result. Not good. But transforming the item into earrings is a fabulous idea. Can't wait to get to work. Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for this tutorial. I'm always admiring the wide rolls of ribbons in Michaels/Joann's but I never thought I could use them in jewelry making. :-)
d2008new You can also make rolled beads with ribbons, after the holidays are over, I shall post more jewelry videos.

Thank you so much for all of your jewelry ideas! I am wondering if you ever struggle with Mod Podge remaining sticky after it has dried. I want to make earrings for my sister, but I don't want them to be sticky and pick up cat hair. (She’s a bit of a crazy cat lady. 😂)
Yes, I actually do have that problem. For some reason, mod podge does remain sticky. So sometimes I use clear nail polish as a finish coat. Or an acrylic varnish. I realize acrylic varnish is not something everyone has around, but as I craft in a variety of home renovations etc. I always have some, so clear nail polish is a good alternative.

Yes, the plastic like a sandwich bag is great to use, as plastic will not stick to white glue.

Yes, the waxed paper is simply to prevent sticking.
Modpodge means what..where did v get it y it s used for
+Srinivas Kankanampati Modpodge is a type of glue, you can use any white glue that dries clear.
