I think you/your show has the coolest ideas - when I get some time, I'm going to watch more vids. I love imagination to make things. I mean, who would have thought people could make things from those plastic grocery bags we bring our groceries home in?? People make nice purses and other things out of them...then I love extending one idea into many other avenues. I'd like to see people come up with ways you can make your own gift cars...however, using everyday things to avoid the huge expense
I bet this idea would work well with all those pretty foil wrapping papers you see at Christmas. It's always such a shame to throw them away. I'm going to try this. Thanks Candace. I love your ideas.
Very Cute. I found some Christmas bags and boxes that holographic designs on them and I think I'm going to try it with those. Maybe make some charms out of them. Thanks for inspiring me!!
Yes @thehare! Great idea to use pretty foil wrapping papers. Just be sure they have enough body to hold the shape and withstand repeated wearing. You might want to glue them to a thin cardboard base. Happy crafting!
Hey there Candace....Wow who know we could make something so pretty from cardboard scrap, I've learned so many great crafts from you dear, Thank you once again for sharing something so lovely & EASY !! LOVE IT & YOU XOXO Alma
+tamia C We LOVE these tissue box earrings that Candace created. Keep your eyes open around the holidays and you can find pretty boxes similar to what Candace used. Happy crafting!
Candace your earring creation is awesome, i am looking forward to making these, if i come across a matching but slightly larger, design, i can use that one as a necklace pendant, it looks like you may have had one on that container ,being yours is more or less 2-sided is very nice, too, hey i love your cutish hair do, it is very becoming on you, thanks for sharing your great jewelry making designs, i saw 29 thumbs down, how can anyone not love your idea, it is awesome..
I am new to UA-cam and am avid personal jewelry designer and am working up some crafts to post. I cannot wait to get started. My new camera should arrive very soon. Again, LOVED the tutorials!
Thank you, grammielull! That punch is a Crop-o-dile. It's one of my favorite tools! It requires very little strength to use and it cuts through a lot! Recently I forgot to punch the whole before I put the dimensional sealer on. After it dried, the Tool cut right through it! Thanks for watching! Candace
Awesome! (and very pretty) You just gave me an excuse to buy the 'fancy' tissue boxes. I do need some hole punches though. I think I will also try some different shapes too. Thanks for sharing! :)
You know, I think you could do the same thing with wrapping paper as long as you mounted it onto a thick paper, cardboard or maybe even plastic.....it's a thought.
Candace used a Dimensional Sealer. If you want to use resin you would need to test compatibility with the surface you are applying to. If you want to seal the sides, you would wait until the front and back are dry and then apply the sealer in a thin coat to the edges with your finger and hang to dry.
I love earrings!💕 I used to make jewelry. Most of the jewelry I made was with wire, but my RA got so bad, my hands are not what they used to be. My weakness are earrings. The oldest pair of earrings I have are from the 90s. I would love to know where I can find that device to cut cardboard.
Where did you get the tissue boxes? I haven't seen those before. Can you use metallic wrapping paper with deigns or is that not stiff enough? Beautiful earrings! Thanks!
Hi tess kee Dimensional sealer is a clear glaze that you usually apply directly from the bottle in a thick application. I personally use Sakura 3D Crystal Lacquer which states that it is a water base acid free and non toxic transparent acrylic lacquer but there are several other choices available at the craft store and on-line. [Tiffany]
Dimensional sealer is a clear coat that stays thick. I like Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. The sticky doohickey is a board that I glued masking tape to, sticky side up. It holds small things still when I'm working with them.
in my reply to you...when I said "gift cars..." I mean GIFT CARDS. Making your own greeting cards is really quite an art and I've seen some on youtube; they make them on their videos and it looks so easy. I have a lot of supplies, but never started it--really just not sure how to go about it. I would love to into creating and making gifts cards for the people getting well in the hospital, birthdays, sympathy cards, encouragement cards - Many people come up in my life that need them.
I think these earrings are "Beauteous"!!! I have saved tissue boxes just for this reason! Thanks so much for the great idea!
Hola señora que liquidó usa para proteger la lata y le da ese brillo bonito al arete
What a great idea! I love the idea of taking items from around the house to make earrings and pendants. Thank you so much for your video.

Beautiful! I was thinking I could also use the shiny foil Christmas cards to make these as well. Thank you for this tutorial!
I bet this idea would work well with all those pretty foil wrapping papers you see at Christmas. It's always such a shame to throw them away. I'm going to try this. Thanks Candace. I love your ideas.
Missed the show last week so I had to find you on You Tube!! LOVE these earrings -- you are so talented!!

We agree! Candace's earrings are so beautiful it's hard to believe that they are made from cardboard.
Love the earrings! Could you tell me the brand name of your circle punch? The fiskar brand will not cut through cardboard...mine won't, anyway.
Awesome... thanks for sharing!❤️

LOVE IT, LOVE IT LOOOVE IT!!!
Very nice . how did u get the one side green ? What did i miss ? 👍
Hi @aaroneg1 - The green one is from a different tissue box :) You'll find tissue boxes in all sorts of colors and prints.
Where can I find that device that cut out the cardboard?
wow. very creative.
Love it !!!
Awesome! (and very pretty) You just gave me an excuse to buy the 'fancy' tissue boxes. I do need some hole punches though. I think I will also try some different shapes too. Thanks for sharing! :)
Thanks Niccole Fales This project really has us looking at those tissue boxes differently!
You know, I think you could do the same thing with wrapping paper as long as you mounted it onto a thick paper, cardboard or maybe even plastic.....it's a thought.
Niccole Fales Yes - all these supplies would work in a pinch if you didn't have a pretty tissue box!
I see this is an old video. I just came across it. I was wondering if you sealed the sides? Also can resin be used as a sealer. ? Thanks
Candace used a Dimensional Sealer. If you want to use resin you would need to test compatibility with the surface you are applying to. If you want to seal the sides, you would wait until the front and back are dry and then apply the sealer in a thin coat to the edges with your finger and hang to dry.
Can you give an example of dimensional sealer??
I love earrings!💕 I used to make jewelry. Most of the jewelry I made was with wire, but my RA got so bad, my hands are not what they used to be. My weakness are earrings. The oldest pair of earrings I have are from the 90s. I would love to know where I can find that device to cut cardboard.

hello Cool2Craft, What is "Dimensional Sealer?" and what is it make from? and is it toxic? or does it have a toxic odor? Have a good day.
Awesome.
old newbie here. what is dimensional sealer and a sticky-do-hicky?
Dimensional sealer is a clear coat that stays thick. I like Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. The sticky doohickey is a board that I glued masking tape to, sticky side up. It holds small things still when I'm working with them.
Nice!
W0W AWESOME !!
I
Thank you, thank you, thank you Rachel Keys
very cute
Can you punch the holes after the sealer?
To keep your punched edges clean, we recommend punching before the sealer.
i love it :)

Hey thanks!
