Switzerland Rail, Trams & Buses with EURAIL and Local Passes

Short video on getting around in Switzerland. The Eurail pass worked to well to get from one city to another. With 26 independent cantons in Switzerland, local ground transportation (trams and buses) were subject to local passes or fees. Where we stayed at a hotel, they offered a pass for trams and buses for the area - we did not realize this perk before we arrived. May be worth checking with your hotel or host whether local transit passes are included.
Using the EURAIL pass, reservations were optional and we visited Basel, Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, Interlacken, Lauterbrunnen.
