Out of the shadow
I´ve been waiting
year after year
Holding back what´s deep inside
Like it isn´t there
Living life but not alive
not even feeling down
The yearning got stronger
as time went by
The power came from an unknown
part that hasn´t died
I´m finally shining
I´m out of the shadow now
The obstacles disappear
as I overthink it less
The ending of searching
is the beginning of happiness
I´m tenderly unfolding my soul
so it can breathe
It feels like the first time
too easy to believe
I´m not overcoming anything

if I´m smiling too bright
or let it inspire you
to get out of the shadow too
And when the days are ending
with silence all around
I`ve got peace inside of me
More than they allow
The fighting is over
