while we´re busy making our plans"
And it´s then, when you don´t see the wood for the trees
You´re dehydrating while you´re worried about quicksand
Proudly you look at the kilometre reading
but you can´t remember the places where you´ve been
and somehow you don´t know what you´re feeling
because along the way your heart was giving in
So wherever you go and whatever you do
be aware of yourself

Everybody hold´s on to somebody or something
but sometimes nothing works as wished or planned
and the frailties you`re suddenly are suffering from
were already the same when your commitment began
So you keep pretending, that you are a lucky guy
but the light, that was in your eyes now is dim
and somehow you don´t know what you´re feeling
because along the way your heart was giving in
