These folks who feel the need to go swimming to launch or retrieve a boat should come to Black Point Marina near Miami - the saltwater crocs could use a snack now and again. 😳
And be on the Chit Show !
We got a few ramps in Naples-Ft myers area that the gators and crocs like to hang out also.
I don't get it, I've had to load my 24' pontoon twice without any power (engine trouble) and I never as much as go my feet wet and sure as heck don't have problems when she's running
@@savagenomore But would we want it to be any other way? I've 3 boats, but I also shore fish-almost entirely at a small city park ramp. Worthy of laughs anytime, but after they rebuilt the dock hurricane Michael took out they added features that bring more laughter. Times I almost wish a good bite would slow down because of the comedy.
wait for it................
Sooo many opportunities for serious injuries. Wading in front of a boat under power, stepping through trailer rails while vehicle moving, etc.
Yes!
You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm surprised Paige hasn't filmed a fatal accident yet. Or at the very least, an amputation. To say there are "teachable moments" at this ramp is an understatement. Boating should be fun, not near fatal. Stay safe people. Cheers.
Wow, Omg! Many of these people really don’t know how to trailer a boat. For one, they back their trailer too far in, when only half of it is necessary. You only need to dip the bunks in the water. No wonder many of them get sideways when driving the boat onto the trailer.
Look at all those Credit Card Captains lol
Yep! Lol!
looks like no one ever heard of a bow line and a stern line - never launch without both and make them long
Long, only if there’s a tide…
Here in Pennsylvania I saw a car drive up towing a jet ski. In the staging area he disconnected his trailer and turned his car around. He had hitches on his car fore and aft! Seems silly, but he put his PWC in the water awfully slick.
Oh that's kind of smart! Lol! I would have loved to have seen it!!
See that a lot in So. Cal.
Used to do that on tight lauches upstate NY with a narrow aluminum boat. Was hard to see backing but forward you put it right where it was needed.
nobody in this video has ever completed a rubix cube.
Neither have I, but I can put a boat in and out of water with no problem.
So much going on lol between the two stoke outboards endless cranking the people swimming their boats on to the trailer, and the jockeying for ramp position in the parking lot...I can't keep up lol
Lol! Thanks for watching!!
The smaller the trailer the harder it is to back. I used to back 52 footers with ease.
It's hard to believe how stupid people can be, and stuck in unconscious habits. If I'm waiting to launch, or even fishing nearby, and someone has spent 20-25 attempts to backup I'll offer them some pointers. I discovered at the age of 4 driving tractors that if you grab the bottom of the steering wheel it's as automatically easy to turn the right way for the trailer as it is holding the top of the wheel going forward is. Also the least turn done the better. 2 minutes after telling someone this-hand back on the top, another dozen attempts.
I began backing 48' trailers off of rock/dirt roads into narrow field access drives at 14 when I was allowed to take loads to the elevators or stock markets in town.
Mine were 53’ so I win!
Yea, I’ve got a little 14’ boat. I can’t see it behind my truck without the boat. I drop my tailgate.
The shorter the trailer, the faster it reacts to steering input. But it’s still not a problem if you don’t try to go too fast.
Great video 👍🏻 I admire your stamina to control your laughter while filming, but I also think a bullhorn 📢 with some pre-taped messages would be a great addition 😉 🤦🏼 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 maybe like “ GET OFF MY LAWN! “
🤣
Or “ USE SOME DAMN DOCK LINES!”
Dude no one winchin’ up my boat on the trailer but my self. Everyone just gets involved and panics to get simple boat off a simple trailer
That has to be the friendliest duck in South Carolina...
Damn looks like our beach. What a wake!!!
I know!! Makes it super hard!!
Was looking forward to aBayliner blooper video.Maybe next time..lol.Great video anyway👍
Oh there are more! Lol!
Please open your back hatch when you're backing squirrely little trailers!
Yes!! Helps so much!
Watching any boat launch, is good for a laugh.
I think so too! 🤣
Man I really love this place called "Wake" Wylie. Hope to get there one day 👍👍
You wouldn't believe it!! 😂
Been around boat ramps all my life and have had numerous boats and have never seen as many people who don't know how to trailer there boat LOL I always drive it on it's just to easy!!!
We got some great??🥴 content this weekend!
I do this by myself and never get wet.
I do it several times a week solo. Never get wet. The water is cold up here in Kentucky in the winter lol
I also have EZ Steps and a Drotto
We stay dry too. We boat year round and Kevin and I don't like to get cold. Lol!
Canucky the Canada goose makin friends wherever he goes. 1:40
He's always around! 😊
One thing that is important (and I need to do it as well ) is teach your significant other how to drive the boat, dock and trailer the boat which includes launching. If you have a medical emergency it could save your life.
Very true!
My wife would just hammer it down and run it into shoreline
Same everywhere
Love how the blonde was steering while he was walking the boat onto the trailer.
🤣
That’s a dangerous part of the lake
After watching this video and a few others, I believe every captain should have to take a mandatory boating class 101, for safety and unloading and loading a boat. SMH
i love your videos, it is so hard for me to see so many idiots loading there boats, most are drive on trailers that means you drive your boat on to it!!!!
Lifted jeeps with over sized wheels can tow about 1500 lbs
All I had to see was a Bayliner, and I already knew there would be epic stupidity..
These people never heard of ropes and cleats?
Nope! 😅
The number of boats on the water these days is astounding. I was without a boat for 25 years and only fished farm ponds during that time. 4 years ago I purchased a bass boat and started fishing again. Man have things changed.
From the number of boats, the lack of knowledge of how to use the boat they’re on to the lack of fishing edict. If these people would just swallow their pride and ask for some helpful instruction from anyone you see that clearly knows what they are doing things would go a lot smoother at the ramp.
It's scary out there sometimes!
Well the one good thing about that is at least you being an experienced captain will offset the multitude of other bassboat “drivers” (half of them don’t qualify as captains) that are on the Chesapeake flats and river. They have zero courtesy ever. They think getting up on plane with a hole shot is ok when amongst a whole fleet of other fisherman. This isn’t Bassmaster jackwagon. You don’t need to holeshot to get to the weigh in. Zipping by at full speed 30yds from Guys in small Jon boats. They are as bad or worse than jet skis lately.
hope the clowns with the first bass boat can fish better than they can operate there boat, they gonna be hungry. never seen so many drive on trailers with people in the water.
take care Paige don't know how you can sit there without needing stitches from splitting your sides trying to hold back laughing
I thought I saw a sheriffs boat sitting out there. Probably laughing his butt off.
Probably! 😅
Guys with the van aren't exactly Mensa candidates are they?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Inexperienced !!!!! E for effort !
Diversity is our strength 😆 🤣
I will admit this, I can back in a 24ft boat with precision. But a small jet ski or utility trailer is difficult for me....my brother is like WTF? You can back in the large boat with precision, but with a small trailer. You drive like you drank a fifth of rum and a 12 pack of beer 🤣🤣🤣
Lol! I've never tried a small trailer, but Kevin says it's harder!
Glad your still at it it cooled down here
We have tons of footage still!
@@paigeattheboatramp lol that's a shame 🤣 there ain't another ramp like it
True!!
How many people were on that Bass Boat???? I counted like 5 adults at the ramp.
Paige thanks again for that video, it is enjoyable to see people that don't know what they are doing!!!!!!!!!!!! How can I get in touch with y'all I have some questions about UA-cam?
You're welcome! Our email is paigeandkevinvideos@gmail.com!
Is this the Buster Boyd Bridge Boat Launch?
It is!
The guys in the HYDRA SPORT should be ashamed. That was absolutely pitiful and embarrassing. Three men and not one of them can drive the boat on the trailer🤣. Only thing positive was the guy in the van could back the trailer down the ramp.
Question, does no one believe in stern lines there? Also why do the ones with jet skies learn that opening the tailgate or rear hatch makes backing up jet ski trailers easier. Also see not many wearing life jackets. is it not a requirement when on the water?
Life jackets are required for pwc riders and children. I'm not sure of the age though.
Shit in colorado your simply just required to have one for each person on board but they arent required to wear it
I say one needs a minimum IQ of 85 to be allowed at the boat ramp. how do some of these people manage to get a boat.
This was crazy…..great day for filming⚓️⚓️⚓️
Thanks for watching Linda!!
Was this seriously all from one day? You’re heads must have been spinning trying to capture all of the calamity!
Yes! It's crazy like that some days!!
i have never, in all my years of boating, seen a ramp with so many people in the water launching or loading a boat. This ain't the only wake washed ramp I've seen...just the first where most boaters go wading like that. lol
😅
It happens in at Sagauro Lake AZ every weekend, it’s a crazy mess. I only go out on the weekdays during summer. To many stupid people that have no business on the water until they take months of boating classes.
I launch my boat solo several times a week and never get wet.
Same!
Not where I launch you won’t. Come to Iberia boat ramp, Nolin Lake, KY. Launch your boat SOLO without getting any part of your feet wet and I’ll pay you $1000 cash. Look me up when you get here. I’m not hard to find.
Doesn't anybody believe in a stern line at this landing
No. 😅
Your right I still can't believe I watched almost 9 mins of a normal day at the ramps with mostly dum ass people that don't need boats
Does anyone at that lake know how to load a boat?
Yes, but I don't show them much. Lol!
There needs to be some sort of test to buy a boat. There would be a lot less morons at the ramp.
What ever happened to the bow line and the stern line, or maybe just the mid kleenex. Any of those would make life easier.
🤪🤣🤣🤣
Oh the idiocy of Lake Wylie..
Hope y'all are having a blessed Thanksgiving holiday right now..
🍗🌽🥕🍗🥗🥧
Happy Thanksgiving to you!!
Probally not the smartest thing, Standing in front of the boat in the water while someones driving it
You gotta start somewhere.
Jo hobbybeurs
Never seen so many people in the water then this channel. I've never seen even one person doing it in our marina. But you guys have a nice lil spot. Ours is so inclined its ridiculous
how about no one knows what no wake means
What do they do when it's cold
They don't boat I guess. Lol!
Please tell me this was shot over the course of a summer
I wish. Lol!
yawn.... When a UA-cam vid starts with back to back 15 seconds commercials I'm gone.
Adios
So are you just standing out there on the docks pointing your phone at these random people out there trying to have a good time? I’m sure that makes people nervous. Shocked no one‘s giving you the death stare or do you edit all of that out?
Nope! Unless someone gets hurt we show it all! 🤷
Can't stand when you all use clickbait seeya
