Watching these launch ramp vids always makes me happy to know my playcraft 2700 extreme pontoon and ranger bass boat are on a lift at my condo at Lake of the Ozarks. Drop the lift and go.
I watched, whilst I was cooking clam chowder and grilled cheese for my husband, it was so relaxing, nothing replaces the sound of that water slapping against the ramp and dock, thank you, thank you, content is always spot on ,💯,,,shout out to the wifey🤘,✌🏻💞 from Loxahatchee, Florida😎
As I watch these it brings me back to a day when my buddy (slightly drunk) would be trying to dock his pontoon onto his lift. Winds would be pushing it everywhere so it ended up being full speed ahead. Few dents in the dock and pontoon later its on.
If you can not backup a trailer straight, you should not be allowed to buy a boat. 😂😅 . I am surprised Dan not sitting on a lawn chair with a sign, "will dock your boat for $20 or a case of beer" 😅
At Tahoe Keys boat ramo on the south end of Lake Tahoe there is a convienient gazbo for "launch and recovery" watching. If you got a little time on your hands, it is some of the funniest stuff to watch.
Turn the wheel all the way to the left, then turn it all the way to the right. Repeat several times until you get where you are going. It doesn’t matter if it’s a truck or a boat. The instructions are the same.
Dan, give us some discussion about trailers in an upcoming video ….it seems some of the folks are having trouble because they may have the wrong trailer style or build for the boat they’re hauling…
Retired marine mechanic here. I’ve gone to the launch hundreds if not thousands of times testing boats, why do these idiots pull the trailer in the water so far. I know these are steep ramps unlike where we live, but don’t go so deep, drive the boat up a little, connect trailer to boat with strap, back in water farther and ratchet it up. I have done steep and not so steep ramps, it’s not rocket science, it’s common sense, oh, I forgot, MOST people don’t have that today!!
As a professional with obviously loads of experience, perhaps you can answer my question. Does a man with a big outboard or multiple outboards, have bigger willy's ? Or what is the social status and pecking order for people with lots of outboards ?
I think that’s the same ‘toon that was on a video or two ago. It was riding really low in the stern and it was Suzuki powered. Maybe he tried unsuccessfully to repair it. The hole might’ve been too large for epoxy or gorilla tape!
Hey Dan, subscriber for a while. Long time Grady White owner that now has a much larger tritoon. I look to your channel to find cautionary tales about launching and retrieving boats. The Grady was much easier.
Prop wash loading boats digs out the bottom so trailers can drop into the hole. Should be outlawed. You don’t need passengers on board for docking! How about self filming Big Dan loading a boat?
Some people are too stupid to walk and chew gum at the same time. What I wonder is how do they afford such nice toys. They can't have a good paying job being that stoopid!!
WHAT IS UP WITH MERICANS DROWNING THEIR ENTIRE TRAILERS??? Halfway the wheels is enough. No wonder they cant drive up the trailer, they can't SEE the thing and it sits too LOW.
9:42 Look at all the water coming out of the center pontoon. There’s yer problem. I like you channel but the one thing the drives me crazy is you end abruptly or don’t finish the story-for instance the sinking pontoon. Maybe follow him to the staging area to see what happens once they’re out of the water. At least watch him as you point the camera elsewhere and give us some commentary. I know it’s not easy with so much going on at once’s but pick a disaster and follow up on it. Please.🙏
Duuhhhh… relative to sinking a pontoon boat: a hole in a pontoon or if there is a drain plug it’s open common sense answers!!! As is with any boat… again common sense!!!!!!!!
I’m out in the Elements. I’ve got a $250 mic that’s supposed to cut the wind. It does considering it’s usually blowing 15-20 here. I do my best. Lol Thanks
The guy tieing the pipes together must have been setting up a clothesline for the ride home.
🤔😂😂
@2:33, Nice zoom Big Dan. Perfect timing. lol.
Was thinking the same thing brother. Of all the watercraft, I was hoping she had to take 10 or 12 runs at loading that SeaDoo 😂
Watching these launch ramp vids always makes me happy to know my playcraft 2700 extreme pontoon and ranger bass boat are on a lift at my condo at Lake of the Ozarks. Drop the lift and go.
Dude you’re cracking me up because I can just see and hear myself saying the same things lol
Lol
Good Friday morning Dan. Lightening storm. But still watching Big Dan Show
Good morning! It’s a nasty morning on the Gulf Coast, time for a new video 💪🤘

That is awesome! Save me a bowl. 🥰

Any great video see it was a busy day at the ramp.
Oh yaaaa

Love the Tone on that exhaust Fair warning…….sweet
You and me both!
Love the drone’s name. Snoopy!
Thanks 😄

The middle toon had no plugs in it. So much water gushing out when they pull it out.
😳
Great as always BD. Although you may have to dress up as a tree to fool the fans 😂
Bahahaaaa
I know what I’m looking at 🤘
I have been in that situation .. the plastic plug for my left pontoon broke and had to haul ass 1 mile back to the dock damn thing drained for 4 hours
Ooooooof
Ahh the anxiety of launching and retrieving a big boat in a crowd. Add a little wind and beer and it can be a big shite show for sure lol
No doubt lol
Love those flags! War Damn Eagle!🐅🐅🐅🦅🦅🦅
RolllllllTideeeeee
Sure glad the last boat prominantly displayed his business.
Lol
I'm waiting for you to just set up a lemonade type stand at this boat ramp. But instead of selling lemonade you just charge $5 to trailer a boat 😂
Lmbo 😂
Oversteering a boat is a common mistake almost EVERYONE seems to make. Yup, the pontoon boat is sinking on one side.
This stuff is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS IM LOVING THIS CONTENT
Thanks!!!
Big Dan, you are not too hard on the dockers.
Thanks
Love the Video! Keep these up 🧜🏽♀️
Thank you!!
Good lord there is a reason that winch has a rope on it
😂😂
Perfect name for the drone
By the way😊
That was a close one.
Motor almost under. He got lucky.
They still trying to float their boat up to the winch pole.
Hahaaa
Trump 2024!!! MAGA! FJB!!!
How does it feel to be a moron>?
How's that working out for ya? Kamala's gonna kick his ass!
2:06 So, is that Sea-Doo Orange, Black and White or White, Black and Orange. I could not tell.
Heck idk ahaa

I can definitely do it. 👌💪
What are the big mats tied onto the boats for?
Big Roll out Float
its gotta be hard to trailer your boat with the current like that as well
Ehhh, not much current in here honestly.
@@TheBigDanShow gotcha

That’s what I was thinking
@@das5813Only bigger when they back it in with an F350 dually!
Big Dan, Snoopy called in sick already? Good help is hard to find.
He’s been sleeping a lot 😝
9:43 look at the water pouring out of the center pontoon
LOVE those flags Yeah BABY Trump for the WIN!!!
It takes a lot of skill to sink a tritoon while still on the trailer ?? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
We learn from other people's mistakes.
Facts!
I neve seen a pontoon or tritoon actually sink like that how did that happen
No clue man
I think that’s the same ‘toon that was on a video or two ago. It was riding really low in the stern and it was Suzuki powered. Maybe he tried unsuccessfully to repair it. The hole might’ve been too large for epoxy or gorilla tape!
Gorilla tape 😂😂 I think it was a different one e

@2:22 - was the trailer or the bikini #intoodeepl? 😂
Hahaaaa love it
It's easier to be an armchair critic sometimes .
As a pontoon boat owner. They maneuver terrible at low speeds. Can’t imagine having to load it on the trailer in high winds.
I agree. Confidence is key
They should make filming boat ramps illegal! Like people want their errors broadcast forever on UA-cam!!
I mean, he offers advice to people. You could claim it’s for educational reasons and take that stick out of your ass.
Prop wash loading boats digs out the bottom so trailers can drop into the hole. Should be outlawed. You don’t need passengers on board for docking! How about self filming Big Dan loading a boat?
Better yet, I’ll self film and have my wife shoot with the big camera, while snoopy is on me
How you sink a tritoon is beyond me…
I’m thinking the same dang thing lol

@@TheBigDanShow I feel like drain plugs on those are about the dumbest thing😂 I would just weld them on
@@BassBashin I’ll tell you a secret. I’ve never taken the drain plug out of my boat 😂
@@TheBigDanShow 😂😂😂 I have to because I trailer mine and it will be a swimming pool with flat trailer tires if I’m not careful
Roll Tide!1
👌🤘
such drama ......lol

I do my best. Lol

Too long and boring
Thanks for the feedback. I usually split my videos into 12-15 minute videos. Just doing some testing on this one with the Algortihm
I have never owned a boat...but I can see putting your boat into the water...or getting it out...can be down right EMBARRASSING!
It can be.
Do you own a boat sir?
Yes 27’ SailFish.
Big Dan, can u pm me.
