I’m 100% gonna try defunkify! I’ve actually been dreading laundry lately because I’m hating ALL the laundry detergent options at the store! Thanks so much for sharing friend!! ❤
Thank you for this info! Please keep this type of info coming. My husband and I both have dry, itchy skin at the very least! There is so much info constantly out there. Makes me anxious! You present this in a clear, concise, and may I say calming manner. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Happy fall everyone. 🍂🍁
I love this! I get the whole itchy feeling after being in contact with detergents as well. Thanks so much for bringing it to my awareness that this could be why! I would love to know more about shampoos and body washes and such. You are a great resource and support dear friend! I appreciate you and your efforts so much. Keep up the good work!!!! :)
That was so encouraging for me to hear Alexi! I'm so glad the info was helpful and it makes me want to share more! Thank you dearly for the encouragement .
Cami, thanks so much for all of this great content. I have been really conscious of clean eating the last several years, but only recently started becoming aware of the negative consequences of toxins. I would love more recommendations! Cleaning products, personal care, etc. I am excited to try out this detergent--thanks for blessing us with your years of experience.
Thank you for your feedback Jennie! Clean eating is a great way to start. My journey started with products - but I don't think there is a right or wrong way to begin healthier living! I feel we have a lot of work to do in our society to improve our health, and little things go a long way! I sure appreciate your feedback! I'm excited to share more!
Have you heard of a kit you can ad to your washer hose that uses oxygen to clean? It’s supposed to remove mold and all kinds of stuff from your clothing. It’s a box that you attach and it uses crystals. Anyways a friend of mine uses it and has stopped buying detergent all together. Please do a series on cleaning supplies!
Thanks Cami! I've been using drier wool balls for years now... when I don't hang my clothes on the line, and just love them... especially when you add a few drops of essential oils. I do use Oxi clean as a brightener although I must admit I haven't really checked out its ingredients. We don't seem to have a problem with it.
hey girl- thank you for sharing! This is very interesting. I put these items on the amazon wish list for my husband to look at. I would like to try them out.
I made the switch to natural laundry and cleaning products about 6 years ago when I realized how toxic the dryer sheets are. I use some Norwex products, I make most of my own cleaning products. For laundry I use Tru Earth laundry strips. Thanks for this video. I think more people need to know the dangers of many commercial products.
Sounds like we've been on a similar journey! I love norwex too! Their products last so long! I'm going to have to try these Tru Earth - thank you for telling me about them too. So helpful!
Hi Cami! I just got defunkify to try out (was using tide free and clear prior). I have the liquid version. So far it seems to clean really well. The lavender scent is quite strong though… I’m curious what you used before defunkify? And do you solely use defunkify now or do you alternate between it and another detergent? Thanks!! Oh and I would be super interested in more videos on natural products!
Thanks this was very informative and something I have been wondering about. I do use wool balls and I would like to know what kind of soap you use to take a bath or shower with, I have used some bar soaps but was just wondering about a more natural kind. Thank you for any information you may share.
Great video! I’ve just recently become interested in making my own laundry detergent, but so as to not waste money, I won’t begin the process until we have used up the detergent I have bought. We don’t have skin issues related to its use (I don’t think!), but I want to have a much cheaper alternative to what is in the stores.
Definitely give homemade a try! I know a lot of people that only use that and it is very cost effective. It might be our hard water that requires me to need a bit more that what homemade can offer. But after trying to love it for years, I needed to find something more. So yes, give it a try and I'll be curious to see if you feel a difference.
Did you try the mollies suds detergent? If so how did it compare to the Defunkify? Thanks. (Just ordered the powdered version as it has less plastic packaging to put in the landfill. Are the powder and the liquids comparable I hope?)
I'm still working on everything . . . sure takes awhile to find what works good in every department. But I feel it is a journey worth being on! All my best!
If you try it and like it or have a problem with it, I would sure appreciate hearing from you. I bought mine on Amazon - no plastic bottle. I heard about it from UA-cam -- Scandish Home - said she has used for years.
So helpful, thank you!! I would enjoy seeing more videos like this one!
Would love to have you talk about natural products and I’m 73!!! It’s never too late, right?

Could you use white vinegar with the defunkafy? I don’t use any softeners and vinegar keeps things soft.

Yes, we want to know the answers too to the questions your sister asked. House, body, hair, etc. We buy Ecos from Costco - thoughts on that?

I am interested in any of it, toxins really are horrible and I want to do the switch with everything!

PS Is Marci your baby sister or big sister? I feel like I could have that convo with my baby sister hahaha!!!
Any recommendations for a good clean and and non toxic laundry detergent that I could get in the uk please?
Very interesting!! I have recently changed to Charlie's Soap. Have you ever tried it, do you know any problems with it?
No, I had never even heard about it! Definitely going to give it a try - thank you!
