How to: Install a sump and oil pickup

G'day and welcome,
On this episode, Tomo demonstrates how to fit an oil pickup and engine sump on an inline A-series engine. This is different to a Classic Mini as it does NOT share gearbox oil and does NOT have an o'ring between the oil pickup and engine. This is simply a fitting that screws into the block. Worth while noting that the sump gaskets (both cork and fibre) must NOT be trimmed when fitting otherwise leaks will occur. As him how he knows this! Always be sure to tighten everything evenly and to the correct torque setting.

Muchas gracias desde España.
Aquí no hay muchos coches motor "A" con esa disposición del carter de aceite, pero si es común el bloque motor en los Minis clásicos, con lo cual siempre es bueno aprender un poco más sobre esta mecánica.
