- A controller review of the PDP Afterglow Wired I got back in april and this thing is actually pretty cool. Mic control on the d-pad, see thru, rgb, and wired so no batteries required. A pretty awesome controller for the cheap $20 Dollar price, but is it any good??

Just ordered 2 of these instead of the over priced official ones. If its anything like the glow one I had for 360 itl do the job nicely 👌
You know same here I managed to buy the afterglow controller with the buttons on the back I still own the Xbox 360 after glow controller to this day still works like new for my pc
As I went Argos spent £25 quid on Power A controller standard white had stick drift in a month then I got annoyed ended up breaking it

was it worth it? does it hurt your eyes after a while?

I have an older version of this controller with better looking lights (a tube that runs the perimeter of the controller, rather than just a couple lights), and it does have 2 "wheel" buttons on the back, for a total of 6 programmable hotkeys on the back. Really dumb that that got replaced with this version.
DUDE! I LOVE THAT CONTROLLER LIKE A FUCKING RELIGION!
I bought a new one on eBay... I have 12 to 13 of these... I'm very competitive.. so I would replace them if I dropped them.. OR they would get Over Voltage some how and totally crap out.
Like I would plug it in and instead of turning on it would instantly vibrate, no lights on. Unplug and replug bit it just wouldn't work anymore.
I have 1 that I had Updated it through the Xbox App back in the day.. and I use it as a Prop RGB Controller that I plug in to any outlet via USB, Mount to a Desk, Wall or Table and let it cycle through it's colors.
I right now plan to take some of them apart, and integrate them with May Flash Arcade Sticks to build a more Flexible Xbox Arcade Cabinet that will have a full range of compatibility with Arcade and fighting games.
It's so funny how I came in looking to buy the Afterglow controller, and now I'm buying the spectra bc he said it's way better

Can someone please help me. My pdp afterglow controllers d pad is spazzing out and I’ve factory reset it. I’ve done everything and my power a works fine. I’m thinking about returning it for another power a bc my old power a is starting to break. As soon as I plug the after glow in the d pad spazzes out. At first I thought it was the left stick deadline but it isn’t and Idk what to do.
I had a pdp power glow controller but it broke within 3 days. I would consider getting a new controller from a different brand.

Well for mine, I don't know why but, the white LED above the Xbox icon is on but the LED's aren't which doesn't make it work AT ALL. I can't use it since it won't move, nor respond to my commands. I tried to reboot it, didn't work. If anybody knows how to fix it, please do let me know.
I have gone everywhere and cant find the solution to my problem. I tried to use my afterglow controller on my pc and the dpad right registers as if it were left and idk what to do now. i just wanna play tetris dude
The controller should just work is it new? It will be plugged and be fully functional make sure you're connected to the internet or got to pdp website and download the latest drivers if palpable
I didn't know you could doo all that from the controller I always just used the pdp app on Xbox witch can control how strong it vibrates and look at diagnostics if somthing don't seem right as well as other light mods and custom colors

1:46 That's to change how bright/dim you want your LED to be (or to turn it off) - if you let go of the button while holding the trigger, it keeps that brightness (or turns it off).

I got this controller for like $4 at Goodwill; it's my daily driver for PC gaming (I use Dualshock 4s with my Steam Link).
Also I kinda miss the whole "see through electronics" thing that was big in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Yeah all controllers are forward and backwards compatible you can use series x on xbox one and xbox one on series x

i just bought one today thinking it was gonna be nice, its fancy and all but for shooters i dont recommend.

Wired via USB micro (You can use any micro USB as long as the micro bit is small enough to fit in the notch)
