Watching this video brings back a painful memory. Years ago, a guy I dated abruptly ghosted me without a reason. When I managed to call him, he shouted, 'We're over, get it into your head. Don't call me again,' then cut all contact. It's been 23 years, but those words still sting. Remember, the hurtful words we say can leave lasting scars. Just 8 years ago, in a shopping mall, I saw him with his pregnant wife, and those moments flashed back.

Being the one initiating the breakup gives you time to think things through when you are still in the relationship so you are technically “prepared” already but the other party can only start thinking things through and grieving after the breakup so it takes longer for them to get over the relationship

I almost ended my life because of my previous relationship it ruined my mental health so badly. So I really agree with what you all have said , is not the end of the world , if things arent meant to be then is just not meant to be no matter how much chances you gave. There is so much more to life , be a better person not for anyone else but for yourself , be happy and do the things you love to do !💌

I just watched this chinese drama where the boyfriend ghosted the female lead on their wedding day. I've never had a relationship before and even I have trust issues. Given that ghosting is so prevalent now, what's stopping anyone from leaving their partner at the altar? There's also no point in talking, of course no one will admit they are planning to ghost right. Especially since the female lead is so pretty somemore. As an average mediocre person, I feel like don't even bother. Better focus on my studies/career first. Given that I've never had a relationship before, it's very likely that my first relationship won't work out either.
