Thank you Tom and Melissa for another great recipe so simple but oh so good I don’t know but you know the little white tendon that’s in chicken tender or even chicken breast to make tender if you take the end of the white part between a fork tine and grab a hold with a paper towel and pull the whole thing will pull out in one piece and no trying to cut them out God bless you and your family and keep those fantastic recipes coming
Tom I love your grammar! Unlike vast numbers of UA-camrs, you know when to use well and good. You are a dream. A Christian man who cooks. Got a single twin brother with those same qualities who would like to meet some nice women in Tennessee ?
MELISSA AND TOM❤ ITS STILL A GREAT JOY TO BE ONE OF YOUR VIEWERS AND EVERYTHING LOOKS YUMMY AGAIN TONIGHT! I AM CERTAINTLY GOING TO TRY THIS DELICIOUS FRIED CHICKEN! THIS WEEK END!😊❤🙏GOD BLESS YOU BOTH❤🙏🙏
We really appreciate your kind comment. It is so nice having you watching our channel. We hope you’re having a great week and that your upcoming weekend is fabulous, as well!
Can't wait to try this one out. BTW - a great way to dredge is to use the clear, glass pie plates. They are cheap at Walmart (most times less than $3) and they don't have corners. They are good pans for a lot of things. Another good tip is if you want to save that third dredge for another time, put it in an empty and clean spice bottle. Love your videos. I'm sharing them all the time. I also appreciate the recipes in the description box so I don't have to sit through cooks hawking their cookbooks. You guys are the best!
You should not save a dredge when used for something like this. It has the milk and the raw chicken in it. It will make you very sick if you use it again at a later date.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing with us. And we really appreciate that you’ve shared our channel and videos. That helps us grow our channel. And we are so glad the recipe in the description box is helpful. Hope you’re having a great week.
@@MurtB6878 You are absolutely correct. I hadn't even considered that. I guess if it's a dredge you use often enough, you could mix up a full bottle of it and just pour it out and use it as needed (and discard the used portion, as you've pointed out). Thanks.
I love this recipe we make bird dogs. We take our chicken tenders and put them on a bed of lettuce in a hotdog bun. These would be perfect for bird dogs and a little pickle wings.
I use 1 dredging of Flour, salt & Smoked Paprika. Letting the butter melt in my 9"x13" Pan... in my preheated oven @ 375°F. Bake x 39 minutes, turn over bake 15 min. If not pink= OK, to eat; if not, turn 1x more, bake 25 min again. Cool on rack over 3 layers of paper towel. Salt as desired.
My favorite meal!! And I’m on board Tom!! Go ahead, don’t let me interrupt! 👍😁. I’m signing off to pay attention, & hush now. Love y’all! Hey Melissa! Eat some for me! Oh wait! You don’t have to! I’m making some myself after bit! Duh! 🤦🏽♀️. Deb from Centerville, Indiana. ( yes! I’m back!). Lol. God bless!
Tom, what did your family call each meal growing up? In the hills of Mississippi, we said breakfast, dinner, and supper. I've stayed true to my raising and still say breakfast, dinner, and supper. Just wondering what you and your readers called the three meals.
Hey Tom I just found this recipe video by you. I'm definitely going to cook this for my 8yo son. He really loves chicken tenders. Thanks very much Tom and Melissa. You both are very great wonderful amazing people ❤️. 🤘😎🥃👍💯
Would love these dipped in Frank’s hot sauce mixed with honey. I think I’ll fix them Sunday. I always buy chicken breast and cut my own strips. I’ll be making your key lime pie this weekend too. Can’t wait to try it. These are almost as good as my breaded tenderloin sandwiches. That’s an Indiana thing. Can’t get them in Nicholasville. Have a blessed evening. 🙏🏻
When it comes to chicken.. a UA-cam invite just won’t work for me… so, I will be there soon.. I promise to knock first!! lol Thanks for sharing your recipe!
I’m not sure I’d agree these are a healthier choice, but I don’t cook like southerners do, ie, I don’t deep fry. I generally brown things then finish in the oven. I use very little oil and usually it’s canola oil, but not always. I’m sure they are delicious. I’ll certainly try them. Thank you.
wanted to let you know I made your Russian Chicken and it was a huge hit. We live with my sister and developmentally disabled nephew. i help take care of him I do most of the cookingand am always on the lookout for new recipes. My nephew is very limited in what he eats. A lot of times it is all about the texture. ell let me tell you, he just scarfed that chicken right up. Gave him leftovers the following night. My sister has a problem now eating red meat, so happy we got this recipe as now I have something to add to my nephew's menu rotation. Thank you so much for sharing this. Sorry about my typing, can only type with one hand.
You did a great job typing. No worries. How nice that you live together with your family and that you assist each other. We are so glad your nephew likes the Russian chicken and we hope he enjoys these chicken tenders, too. Thank you for sharing your story with us. We hope you have a wonderful day.
That looks delicious. Will surely be trying this. The only thing I would do differently is to remove the tendons from those tenderloins. Good tip on how to do that on UA-cam. Imagine that!
Hello Tom and Melissa your chicken tenders looked so delicious thankyou so much for sharing my favorite vegetables are peas and carrots I am sorry I am running behind on videos Could you say a prayer for me I have been sick and the hospital I would really appreciate it God bless you both 🙂🥰👨🍳👩🍳
Hello Suzanne. I'm so sorry that I'm so late finding your prayer request but I'm praying for you right this minute! I certainly hope you are feeling better.
Looks amazing. Chicken is my favorite food and I’m always looking for different ways to cook it. Will give these a try. Thanks. Really do enjoy your videos.
I saw this video come up when you posted it & tried waiting until right before I can get groceries...I almost made it! My son is 22 but could still live on chicken tenders! I don't deep fry & am always looking for new easy recipes like this to try! I know what I need to add to my grocery list now, thank you!
Your chicken tenders look delish. Funny story: you must have an LG stove with the musical timer. When yours went off I jumped up and wondered what I set the timer for. Then I realized it was your timer. 😂
Looks delicious!!! I really like these baked, but hubby prefers fried! Ugh! Still may try this again! It’s been years - maybe I can pull it off! Ha! Love your channel!
We certainly hope you enjoy them. We do appreciate that you were watching our channel. Thank you so much for joining us at the table! Have a nice weekend!
Hello Tom & Melissa- this looks like a great recipe . It is nice to put it in the oven to prepare. I buy the big package of the chicken breast . Then cut it up & get it ready for the freezer. I dice some like for chicken stir fry with veggies. We butterfly the thicker pieces to make strips/ tenders. Then I freeze it in portions for the two of us. It makes it so easy to thaw & cook when we want it. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Enjoy the rest of your week & the upcoming weekend. 👏👏👏💕🌻
Sounds great. I wrote this down. I like the way you cut the butter in tablespoons and spread it all over the baking pan evenly instead of doing what I do, which is placing the whole stick into the pan to melt it. By the way, I did try three more of your recipes, the Sue's spaghetti sauce, the Maw Maw macaroni salad, and Corn Dip using the recommended Fritos Scoops. All three are excellent. I would not hesitate to make them again if the occasion calls for it.
Thanks for this recipe, I have some chicken tenders in my freezer that I was planning to can, but I think I will try this recipe instead for tomorrow night’s dinner!
I use some of the same ingredients when making ck tenders. But I let the chicken set in the buttermilk for 5 mins before moving on. Also I add 1 tablespoon of parmigiana (the one with the green lid) into the last dredge per tender.
LOVE your cooking preparation style. LOVE Bake and have tenders in my freezer. Thanks . Saving money not eating out . ❤️❤️❤️☮️☮️☮️👍👌 GOD BLESS YOU BOTH
This looks yummmmmmmy!!! This is a must try:) I was chuckling when Tom said, “I don’t forget” I was watching yesterday when he was making the yams dish and he forgot to add the pecans to the topping:) what is it they say never say, never like I never forget:) lol tfs and God bless:)
These tenders look good, I’m going to try them as soon as I buy some buttermilk! I am fairly new to you channel and I have made many of your recipes. I like them because they are everyday sensible recipes. You do a great job of being clear about how to make them and your wife does a great job with the camera and also she makes sure that your instructions are exactly right…so cute. Thank you for such a good cooking channel, I’m watching!🩷
This is why kids keep coming back home because of meals like this 😂
Whatever gets them home is fine by us! Geez we miss them!
I love that he cools it off for you too. 😅

I appreciate your organization & details when presenting all your reciepes!!
Thank you for the kind words. We appreciate you watching our channel!
So glad to have a breaded chicken recipe that's not fried but baked. Will definitely try this soon. 😊
We hope you enjoy it like we do. It’s very nice to have a baked option, we agree!
I am not very gifted with being able to fry chicken and so I never even try. But this is a wonderful alternative! Thank you guys and God Bless! ☺️
This is a lot easier than frying, we agree! We hope you enjoy it love do.
I like putting the flour and seasoning in a sealed container or baggie to mix the dry ingredients
I do the same. 😁👍
That works, too. Thanks so much for watching.
