I love how CNN referred to Fox News personnel as "entertainers". That's an important distinction that highlights the deserved derision with which those folks are viewed by real journalists.
It's an important distinction that Fox themselves use to argue that they don't have to be accurate.

Meadows was his FOURTH Chief of Staff in 4 years. His staff turnover rate was 92% (Brookings Institute). In number of bills passed, he ranks last of post-WWII president. But yeah, don’t ruin his legacy 😂
Thanks. It really is extraordinary because for the FIRST TWO YEARS Republicans controlled the House, Senate, and White House. ANY competent President could have done tons of stuff with that power. The only thing I remember him passing is the 2T tax cut that wasn't fully funded by cuts or increased revenue. Interesting that the Hillary investigation was closed under Trump in 2019 with the DOJ stating "no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information". No crime. No time.

The fact that they ended up texting Meadows just means that Tr*mp didn't answer the phone when they called.

Hey there SFC - When T**** was president, I had a problem. Just when he said or did something that, while not surprising but definitely predictable, was somehow lower than could have been anticipated. I called each of these actions a "Trump low" because right when we thought he couldn't get any lower, he did. Unfortunately, the "Trump low" has continued even after his presidency ended.

The little asides with Wally and the good humor about honest mistakes are great. Seth always handles it well and makes for more amusement along the way
Wally was the highlight for me. I laughed twice, first because of how Seth stopped and second because it momentarily broke my brain to read that cue card.
The cue cards have to be a comedy bit that they are doing intentionally. Anyone else would have a boring humorless electronic teleprompter that overlays directly over the camera.

The que card was missing the word "know." As in, "So now we know..." The sentence as Seth read it was incomplete. The "we" was actually correct.
@@DMahalko They've talked about why they use cue cards instead of a screen before. Partially it's from the SNL days, and it allows more movement/versatility.
Correction: Seth said that Wally did something wrong on the cue cards but that's not true, Wally is an infallible being and therefore incapable of making mistakes.
It’s kinda badass, this level of comedy. At first you think, “maybe the bits are too stretched and there are too many impressions.” Then Seth takes it full circle. Jokes call back to jokes made just minutes ago, and it all works. So good.

I have noticed over the years that many people, myself included, accidentally omit the word "know" from time to time. This is what happened here. ("So now we *know* what these FOX hosts were saying privately . . .")
Generally, they probably would have done another take with a correct card. But, I like that Seth is keeping in mistakes like this. It makes it funnier and more human.

I'm still waiting for Merrick Garland to release the unredacted Mueller report. Oh wait, that might implicate Trump in crimes, can't have that now.
What was released implicated trump in crimes. Mueller was quite clear in the report that there were grounds for indicting trump for obstruction but that he didn’t have the power to do it. He also showed all the people around trump doing shady work with and for the Russians, and said that because trump wouldn’t answer many questions and wasn’t candid in the answers he did provide, he couldn’t show conspiracy but also didn’t exonerate trump.
Destroying his legacy and everything he accomplished? It was four years of a political nightmare, January 6 was pretty much on brand.
