Eidola’s Eviscerate should’ve been on here. For a band that’s not traditionally a metal band, they sounded fresher than a lot of metalcore bands on their recent record diving into that genre with the swancore background they have
Diamond Construct really surprised me this year. It’s not really my go-to style generally, with so much production and tech shit, and the lyrics are inconsistent. But it’s soooo much fun from start to finish. Even the simpler tracks that are just mindless-like Neon-absolutely slap
