Yes, well presented with no fluff. One thing that nobody ever touches on is, if I create a 2nd admin in FB BM for backup in case my BM get banned, what use is that, if presumably I need their personal profile login details to log into my BM. I would understand their not wanting to give access to their personal profile.

Great video! I wish Facebook could make these things simpler. I've seen how Business Manager anf Ad Accounts have been setup all wrong because an agency simply wants to get things running for their clients who usually don't know all these complicated stuff so they hired the agency.
I wish there was a simpler way so that we don't have to bother the client (who are usually clueless with these things) but it seems there isn't.

In another video you mentioned beginners in FB ads would not need a website right away but here need one to setup bm and don't recommend our profile website. Could I get some clarity Please? Great video Billy. My account is all messed up. I have run two different ads but not using your set up. When I did, I had two accounts showing then one of them had 2 pages and the other had one. I am about to run two more and need to set it up right.

I couldn't understand why I have to log in my personal account to Create my business Account for advertising, which doesn't make sense for me. So I thought I made a mistake to set up my own Advertising account. After seeing your video, what I did seems correct. Facebook themselves should have done better job for S&M business owners. This is a very informative video, Billy. I set up a Facebook Business Manager for in house advertising purposes, added my own Facebook Business Page in Business Manager, went to accept that request, and it keeps giving me an error. The Business Manager account hasn't been verified yet. It's been a couple days. Haven't added an "App" not sure where to go from here.

Honestly, I wouldn't like my clients to see what i'm doing.
In first add account u have to spent some money in adds after that u can add unlimited accounts ..
Otherwise only 2 add acount u can use

@Billy Wilson Hi, Thanks for great info, however it is still confusing at 19:14 . If i use option 2, Does my client still need to add me under PEOPLE at his own Business Manager Account? After going through all the steps at option 2, i will have a full access to all assigns of my client, However, at the end, if my client adds me under People at his BM account, then a Separated Business manager account is showing in MY view(My BM account) when i log into my own BM account. That separated account is for my client. then, in my on BM account, when i select my own business manager account, then i can see again my clients FB page, Ads account etc all on there.
Short summary: If my client adds me under People at his own BM account and if i also go through of all the steps you explain in your option 2, then i see my clients account twice when i log into my business manager account. It shows up in the arrow at top right corner which i can select and get access into his full business manager account, Two, If i select my own business manager account, then i see all assigns of my client under my own business manager account as well. is this right? OMG! I Literally just went through option #2, WHAT A NIGHTMARE! You MUST make sure the client has some level knowledge of how to navigate through Facebook. Or else screen share and wal them through it. Great video BTW.

You mentioned that its advisable to use separate ad accounts for each client. But I can only create up to 5 ad accounts under a business manager. Then how do I maintain more than 5 clients? I'm a freelancer. Just wondering how do professional agencies do it. :)
fyi, for most cases, I have to make payments on behalf of my clients (because they don't have international credit cards). So asking them to create their own ad accounts is not an option. Could you please advice?
Hey, I believe that it will be the client creating the ad account, and you will be accessing that account. As you don't own that account, it shouldn't count as 1 of your 5 ad accounts, and you should be able to access as many ad accounts as you like, and therefor have more than 5 clients :)

hey billy i set up the business manager before i saw this video so instead of marking "i will provide services for other business" i put "i will sell my own products and services" so itried deleting it yesturday, and it said it will be deleted in 24 hours. i just logged in today to make a account following the video and it logged back in and wasnt deleted. any idea what i should do?
Not sure if you are answering any questions, but any suggestions as to what to do if you had already set up Business Manager improperly? I had inadvertently placed two different businesses in the Manager, and their system isn't letting me remove the one that doesn't belong. Also, I am being shown as the "Owner" of a page that I am only an Admin for. Thanks.
@Billy willson can the client make a FB profile (only for his business, NOT his own personal fb profile) and then FB page and then attaching the business manager and ad accounts onto it INSTEAD of having his own personal FB profile and then attaching the business manager and ad account onto his personal FB profile?
and if the client has already his own personal FB profile, Can he still make another FB profile for his business separated ?
