Hi mate, That is unfortunate, however it happens! Try login in from your FB account and create a new account. It might pay to read through FB policies. Also, is your FB profile new? This can often be the case.
Yes, facebook restricts my account before I can even create an ad account! i've had my fb profile for YEARS. I have NOT broken any ad rule because I haven't even started yet! Please tell all of us why we are ALL getting restricted for no clear reason. Thanks!

Hi Sara, Good question, just an ads manager per business. Think of your business manager as the manager of all your accounts. You can do this. This just depends on how you want to organise your accounts.

Hey mate, That is the name of our business (therefore our business manager & page). You can manager multiple Business pages and ad accounts under you business manager.

Tucker Emge, but when I try to add that page to my Business Manager, it won't let me because it's the same name as the account??? Thank you for the video. I think I'm a few steps behind. I go to the business.facebook.com and I get the home screen you showed. I click on create account but I get taken to the log in page. I log in and I'm on my personal account homescreen. Not the screen you show. How do I get from my homescreen (where I manage 7 pages) and get to the business manager dashboard. Hi Jackie, Yes you have access to the Facebook Business Suite. However, this is different. You should be able to access your business manager by going to the left hand side of your FB profile and clicking business manager.
Hello, sir! I followed your video, but ran into odd problem at the very first step. As I tried to create my business manager account by filling in company name, my name and business email, when I press Submit, it gives me error message saying: "Unable to create account. Hi Stewart, I've created a business account, I go to Business Settings, added our page and it says Page Admin needs to approve my request and has been notified via email even though I am the page admin of our page and I still haven't received the email... Dear Stewart, first of all, thank you so much for these amazing tutorials :) I read through the comments below this video and I got a lot of useful information. Although, I still have some doubts. If I understood correctly, In the situation when having multiple businesses (for example primary is a Marketing agency and the side business is a Yoga studio) the best practice is to have just one Meta Business account (for example Name of that Marketing agency) and under them to manage Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts and Ad Accounts related to the primary and side business, rather then to have a two separated Business accounts? If this above is correct, when creating an Ad account for the side business (Yoga studio) is it better to choose that ad account will be used for “My Business” or to choose “Another business or client” since it’s the business completely opposite to the primary one which is a Marketing agency? Hope I explained it well :)

Hey Thanks for this . I run a free popular website for doctors and trainee doctors. Should I create a forum on my site for them using buddy boss for instance or a Facebook group? The problem with website forum is getting people to log in. People log into their facebooks all the time. But the problem with Facebook is that I need to categorise posts which is better in forums. And people need to be able to search and read old posts. In Facebook it’s often the current post that is the most important. But in my case like for the trainees past posts will be important for example. And I need to create several groups. Some might be members of more than one. For example a trainee group and a maternity group. Or trainees who graduated abroad. Or trainees taking the RCA exam or the CSA exam. Do u see what I mean. Will I need to create a face book group for each of these? Some trainees will belong to more than one group. What would u do.

@@StewartGauld Interesting take Stewart. I posted the same questions on a number of other UA-camr sites and did a questionnaire on my already well established audience. The consensus was actually to go with forums. A forum on a website separates work and personal life stuff. A forum is easier to categorise messages. Old messages (say posted within last 2 years) will still be relevant for students preparing for exams (as things don't change that quick) and so forums are good for this whereas Facebook - the only message that counts is the current week. And I got a lot of replies saying people are leaving Facebook as it is too overwhelming, too intrusive and too unprofessional for professional sites. So, I decided to go with creating some forums on my website as it already has lots of visitors who come naturally. I've posted this in case any of your users are in the same position - and that Facebook might seem like the right answer - but there is more to consider than what meets the eye.

Your welcome mate. You can add people to different levels of your business manager. Ad account is just the ad account for a particular business etc. You can connect many ad accounts.
We have been extremely frustrated with FB ads. The way you provided guidance in this video was excellent and helped tremendously to get over the hump for one problem. Now onto implementing this and moving on to other issues in FB.
Thank you Stewart for clear guidance, very helpful. I followed every step and it all worked, until I tried to set up payment method, 2 unsuccessful trials, then my ad account got disabled. I checked multiple times and cant find any policy violated, requested review ofc. But while waiting for the review, I cant add new ad account. Yes that is why this should all be done through the Business manager. Not just ad accounts or pages.

Someone else set up my business page and I am only now learning how to manage myself. Is there something I need to do before I can access all you have shown on the tutorial?

Hi, Stewart! I have my personal page with Facebook. I also manage 2 business pages within the same company. It's F.C. Tucker Emge & F.C. Tucker Emge Jasper. The Business Account is now under F.C. Tucker Emge, but when I try to add that page to my Business Manager, it won't let me because it's the same name as the account??? I told myself I would never get too old to where I didn't understand this stuff, but man...I think I'm there.

No its not, you can create a business manager than connect or create a business page and link to your business manager. Yes you do need to login from your personal profile.

When I go to the page roles of the account it shows that page Owners ID but its not my ID. I dont have access to the Page Owner business manager? Thank you for the video. I think I'm a few steps behind. I go to the business.facebook.com and I get the home screen you showed. I click on create account but I get taken to the log in page. I log in and I'm on my personal account homescreen. Not the screen you show. How do I get from my homescreen (where I manage 7 pages) and get to the business manager dashboard. I also have a business suite account but I'm not sure I can set up multiple pages connected by business there. Am I looking at 2 different tools?

Yes you have access to the Facebook Business Suite. However, this is different. You should be able to access your business manager by going to the left hand side of your FB profile and clicking business manager.

Hello, sir! I followed your video, but ran into odd problem at the very first step. As I tried to create my business manager account by filling in company name, my name and business email, when I press Submit, it gives me error message saying: "Unable to create account. Your advertising access is restricted". I'm trying to do that with my second Facebook account which is quite inactive and even without profile image (maybe that's the case?) As far as I know, I haven't done anything that violates Facebook guidelines with my account. Any solution?

Hi Stewart, I've created a business account, I go to Business Settings, added our page and it says Page Admin needs to approve my request and has been notified via email even though I am the page admin of our page and I still haven't received the email... Is it normal for the email to not arrive instantly? It's weird that it didn't get approval automatically like yours did. Am I missing something? Thanks heaps.
Hmmm I wonder if it's got anything to do with the page still appearing as a "Classic" FB Page? I've successfully added another Facebook Page we have which is "Updated" to a new Facebook Page.

Thank you for this tutorial! So I have run into an issue setting up a business manager for a client. Facebook is requiring us to verify our business with a business licence or LLC. Is this needed to set up a business manager?

Your welcome! 1. Yes business page. 2. You will create an add through FB. Your business page will be used to advertise on Facebook and IG account for IG. Make sure you connect/link both your IG and FB page together.

@@callumdaviesfitness Hi Callum, you may be correct. I haven't heard anyone get banned. However, it makes sense. You do want your online assets to be congruent. This is beneficial in many ways especially for SEO purposes and social signals to Google.

I read through the comments below this video and I got a lot of useful information. Although, I still have some doubts.
If I understood correctly, In the situation when having multiple businesses (for example primary is a Marketing agency and the side business is a Yoga studio) the best practice is to have just one Meta Business account (for example Name of that Marketing agency) and under them to manage Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts and Ad Accounts related to the primary and side business, rather then to have a two separated Business accounts?
If this above is correct, when creating an Ad account for the side business (Yoga studio) is it better to choose that ad account will be used for “My Business” or to choose “Another business or client” since it’s the business completely opposite to the primary one which is a Marketing agency? Hope I explained it well :)

Question - I created a business manager with my company email. The thing is that I'm an employee, the owner is someone else. If let's say I'm not working for the company anymore, will there be a way of transferring the business manager or the pixel to the company? Maybe if I add him as an admin? Or should the owner create the business manager himself and add me as an admin?

Hey Thanks for this . I run a free popular website for doctors and trainee doctors. Should I create a forum on my site for them using buddy boss for instance or a Facebook group? The problem with website forum is getting people to log in. People log into their facebooks all the time. But the problem with Facebook is that I need to categorise posts which is better in forums. And people need to be able to search and read old posts. In Facebook it’s often the current post that is the most important. But in my case like for the trainees past posts will be important for example. And I need to create several groups. Some might be members of more than one. For example a trainee group and a maternity group. Or trainees who graduated abroad. Or trainees taking the RCA exam or the CSA exam. Do u see what I mean. Will I need to create a face book group for each of these? Some trainees will belong to more than one group. What would u do.

Good questions, forums are less important and relevant on websites when you can simply create groups on Facebook and other similar communities on other social media. I would go ahead and create multiple groups for specific communities and link these to your website for people to join. Cheers!
@@StewartGauld Interesting take Stewart. I posted the same questions on a number of other UA-camr sites and did a questionnaire on my already well established audience. The consensus was actually to go with forums. A forum on a website separates work and personal life stuff. A forum is easier to categorise messages. Old messages (say posted within last 2 years) will still be relevant for students preparing for exams (as things don't change that quick) and so forums are good for this whereas Facebook - the only message that counts is the current week. And I got a lot of replies saying people are leaving Facebook as it is too overwhelming, too intrusive and too unprofessional for professional sites. So, I decided to go with creating some forums on my website as it already has lots of visitors who come naturally. I've posted this in case any of your users are in the same position - and that Facebook might seem like the right answer - but there is more to consider than what meets the eye.

You can add people to different levels of your business manager. Ad account is just the ad account for a particular business etc. You can connect many ad accounts.

Thank you Stewart for clear guidance, very helpful. I followed every step and it all worked, until I tried to set up payment method, 2 unsuccessful trials, then my ad account got disabled. I checked multiple times and cant find any policy violated, requested review ofc. But while waiting for the review, I cant add new ad account. Yes, you cannot straight away. Facebook doesn't want spam accounts. Make sure you use a strong standing personal account.

Yes, absolutely!
You can change this in your settings. The main thing is to make sure your domain details are correct for your ad accounts, pixel etc.
