UPDATE: I Do NOT recommend doing the central ad account/collecting client ad spend up front method anymore Having multiple pages running ads from one ad account is against TOS and Facebook can & will ban your ad account if you do this.
@NaTuLaL AGeNcY wondering the same thing. Do I gain access to their ad account and run ads through that?
What should one do now then please? Create a new business manager each time?
@NA Media He literally said it in the video, add their card
@@andrewabsi5396 goat
@@Catthepunk he said from the very start to not create business managers for each client
THANK YOU SO MUCH I NEEDED THIS.
first time ever I am commenting on a YT video.. but you really helped me out, THANK YOU! I also used to create a new BM for each client. My clients are mainly small business owners in the building industry... so really greatful for your "FB admin only" approach. MERCI
You're very welcome!
Thanks so much for this very straightforward video! I learned a lot in 7 minutes!
I’m glad :)
Thanks. I definitely went the route of trying to get clients to get a FB Business Manager and then connect me to all their assets. Total pain in the ass. Half my clients can't even put a logo in a Google shared folder. I appreciate you sharing your first hand experience. I am pretty sure you can create a FB pixel for the client as well doing it this way. Eventually though you will need to confirm their URL (for the new FB iOS stuff), so access to their website will be needed at somepoint. But nice to get so much done just by being an Admin. Thanks! Subscribed.
:)
Dear Keaton I really appreciate your efforts to show us this, since you go in such lengths would it be reasonable to consider creating an updated method where you don't use a central account to handle all the other onces as well as add the process of someone going in their ad manager and making you the admin.
Thanks for your help.
Lot of confusion on this so I will make another one at some point yes
interesting take on the ad spend. totally agree

Valuable video brother part of the onboarding process but bro make video on whole onboarding process, how you send them contract(script) what question you ask..... And more
Good idea!!
Nice hack with the credit card points man!
May I ask which specific one you are using for that purpose?
It’s in the description, but I don’t recommend this anymore for ad spend
Hey Keaton great video! Just a quick question, If we were to use one central ad account how would we go about managing pixels and their data? If I'm not mistaken there only one pixel per ad account right? Thank you!
I don't recommend this anymore as it's against Facebook TOS, I did not know that before - they could shut down all your ads overnight
please clear me sir that do we always creat a new ad account for our clients or shall we request them to give access of thier ads account.
good video. i just lost a prospect because it was "too confusing" for them to add me to their business manager, and make a business manager. oof. i guess it wasnt meant to be. now i know how to do it moving forward. how do you collect payment if you do the method with ad spend up front, dont you take a hit on stripe fees?
I would have personally found this much easier to understand and easier to follow if you showed the entire process including how to gain admin access first before just adding their page, which I would have thought being given admin access would include the page anyway.
Thanks for the feedback
Such a great Video, Really loved it man ❤️.....
Quick question, I like your model but I'm from 3rd world country, and it's not a good idea to use our ad account for someone who's from Australia, so instead of using their current ad account, I asked them to delete that one or make a new one and we use that, is that a good idea?
Yeah just have them create a new one 👍🏼👍🏼
By being an admin do you also get access to their instagram automatically to connect it with ghl etc?
If they add me as an Admin to their page, will that also allow me to later access everything I need like their ad account, pixel, Instagram or to set these up for them if they don't already have them set up?
Since you don't recommend this anymore and because you were kinda all over the place in this video, can you please make another updated video focusing only on how you recommend it now?
and if some client have created a new account or buissness suite so if he gives me access then i will run ads, so the main question is that will facebook run ads by my algorithem as my account is older or will facebook run ads by my clients new account's algorithm. I hope you understand what i am saying.
Great video Keaton!
Living in a not-so-tech-savvy 3rd world country where people are skeptical about giving you their card info and the whole social media marketing service as a whole, how would you go about making ads for them? Just starting off with a couple of close family friends and I really don't wanna seem suspicious and ruin our friendship with them!
Thanks!
This just comes down to expectations. Make sure you say "this could work, it could not work" - tell them you're optimistic, but given its your first time, they shouldn't invest what they can't afford to lose.
Hey Keaton, great stuff. What do you do when you need a 26th ad account?
Ask meta they will upgrade you to more
@@ItsKeaton dude, thank you for replying. You’re the man.

hey Keaton
is your Training "How I Started a 6 Figure Marketing Agency From My College Dorm" show how you generated leads, the campaigns you created, sales pitch, & how to price?

Yes it does!
and if your client has "sensitive products" to advertise your a account may be at risk of being closed, so it's not a very clever idea to use your ad account to run client's ads since products can be sometimes very sensitive with FB policies
Hey I am from Iran and Facebook is Banned here and I am planning to run agency and hire media buyer to do it for me and if my client put their bank information in his ad account and if my contractor wasn't working for me anymore can my client ever remove his bank details even if he doesn't have access to ad account anymore without contacting media buyer and preventing him using his bank details
I am asking this because of my clients privacy and security
thank you for sharing your knowledge. love n respect from India. how i can learn smma agency from you?

Why is that when I click on Settings, I don't see the option for Users? 🤔
hi Keaton sorry, if I use my ad account to run ads, which doesn't match their page name, that's not a problem right?
Else, I would like to find an easy way to get add as an admin, do you recommend any resources?
Thanks for your help!
1. Yes but you should make it work
2. It is easy, just go to page settings > roles
If I may ask, what CC do you use for the best cashback/benefits?
Chase Ink Business Preferred - DM me and I’ll send you a referral link if you want to get it :)
If my client has multiple stores should they be set up as individuals ad accounts or would it be better to group them up regionally ?
Depends on if your target market is local to the stores and what your product is. Great topic for my community:

How many ad account can be created per business manager?
Hey Keaton you said you don't recommend collecting ads spend up front..what is the alternative?
Plug the clients Card into Fb directly
If I give my media buyer employee access, how can I allow him to only have access to those clients he's working with if there all going to be under one ad account? Also if I have all my clients under one ad account would that pose a threat to all my clients if that one ad account got shut down?

Hi! I have some questions if you can help me with😊. I was thinking about collecting the ad spend in the agency price if that makes sense, for example I will say that the ad spend is included in the price, and I will pay it with my debit card. The question is how do I know how much should I charge for the ad spend for my client? Thanks again for the value you are offering in these videos for free!
I don’t recommend doing this! Lots of problems that can occur. If you do, make sure to bill weekly not monthly.
As far as amount of ad spend, totally depends on the client and location. Somewhere between $500-$2000 for local biz typically
@@ItsKeaton Oh ok, tell me if I'm wrong, you recommend to collect the ad spend separately for my client, for example I will do free trials at the beginning, and I will charge the ad spend separately by connecting their card to the facebook ad account created by me. The thing is there gonna be a problem if they are paying the ads and for example they are not performing. How I can give their money back if I don't have any :)? Of course I will tell them in the onboarding call that I'm a beginner in this industry, and make them not expect very much from me, but that's my concern.
4:57 Is it a good practice to run different clients' ads in a single ad account? It will be messed up.
What if something happened to that account, all clients ad will be at risk
I Prefer running as from client's business manager
Check the top comment
how do you run ads for different pages with one ad acccount?!
Don't do it - it's against FB terms of service
But do you ask them for credit card details (for payment method) and store it somewhere? Feels way to much to ask for and too private to share.. Or is there an other way for them to share without me knowing all the detalils
Thank you so much for answering btw, appreciate it very much
Just ask them for it on the contract, and store it securely. Not legal advice but I’ve never had a problem with this
Hey! How do you pay taxes if you collect ad spend? Isn't the client supposed to pay taxes after their ad spend?
Just deduct it from your own biz revenue…
Do clients add my personal acct as an admin or my agency acct? Or does it really matter?
Either one works, personal account is typically easier for them
In my country we pay taxes for running ads.
When asking for advice spend upfront how would you go about getting their payment the next time? Just ask again?
Never hesitate to ask.
If I’m starting out fresh with no knowledge on Facebook ads. Is it advisable to look for clients and outsource the work?
I plan on watching videos on Facebook ads to learn how to use it. But I honestly would prefer to outsource the work. So I can focus on acquiring more client.
With that being said, I’m new to this. Never own an agency. Never done Facebook ads, social media management, etc
If you’re brand new and this is your first business I don’t recommend outsourcing from the beginning - if you have ~6 months of hands on experience you will know what to look for in outsourced work and know how to sell better. As a complete beginner it’s too easy to get taken advantage of
@@ItsKeaton You have a good point, I do plan on studying FB ads for a month. Watch lots of videos to understand how it functions. I’ll try it out first, hoping to sign a client for 3 month contract. If I can provide good results, plan on signing them for a 6 to 12 month contract.
A lot of people recommend to always use their add account because if for example you are running ads for many clients and something happens and you get banned for some reason, wouldn’t that jeopardize my other clients ads? You UA-camrs man make our life so much easier but sometimes confuse us
Look at the pinned comment on this video. I no longer recommend running mutilple client ads from one account
@@ItsKeaton Thank you so much for your help, I just signed my first client in one week and I’m kinda nervous about the procedure
I've heard from several sources that you should NOT use your own ad account for client facebook ads especially for multiple different clients from the same account as it increases the chances of getting banned , am I miss understanding what you're saying?
Read the pinned comment
Can you talk about these credit card points please? You use a credit card for your business instead of a visa? I've never used a credit card, so idk if I'm making any sense lol
Yeah just sign up for a business credit card and get points for business expenses. Amex or Chase have the best ones
@@ItsKeaton oh cool! I'll look this up.
One question : Isn't it risky to run my own ads account for different clients ads ? like 1 ad account for 10 facebook page ads ?
Yes, check pinned comment
2:55 Do i Ad the Page of my Client there??
You got it
But what happens if your personal profile gets blocked and you dont have access to all of your accounts? It dosen't happen often but its still possible... I am a bit confused
You have to run this risk. If you follow TOS you should be fine. There is no other way to do it
@@ItsKeaton Got it. But do you ask them for credit card details (for payment method) and store it somewhere? Feels way to much to ask for and too private to share.. Or is there an other way for them to share without me knowing all the detalils
Thank you so much for answering btw, appreciate it very much
What do you recommend instead? If the one explained in the video will get you banned?
So one ad account per Client with his own credit card as payment method? But still everything under my Business manager?
Because everything in one ad account seems like a crazy risk with Facebook random banning accounts. This would pause the entire agency if facebook goes crazy again
Yes exactly this
@@ItsKeaton okey thanks👌 just got my first client and wasn‘t sure how to set everything up
@@ItsKeaton hey Keaton, if the client doesn't have a business manager, they wouldn't have a business page right? If so, how do you work around that?
What if your own ad manager account is permanently restricted ?
Ask your clients to create one and then add you to theirs
I'm confused, so you want to use your own add account for each client? Don't have a limit on how many ad accounts your business manager can have? Won't I hit a limit or something
You can use a new one for each client OR just have one ad account you use for all your clients
You will hit a limit but then you can request more
@@ItsKeaton wouldn’t using just one ad account for multiple clients make it hard becuase they all share the same pixel. And how could you do payment methods with so many people on one account? Sorry for all the questions I’m going to start my agency soon and just want to double check on everything lol
@@DannyLehmkuhl All of this is in this video...
@@ItsKeaton ye poorly explained
Is it important to be admin to their page?
yes it is
Great video man.
However i would like to know as im newbie:
1. its one ad account for any page i manage or 1 page=1 ad account?
2. how do i add the client payment method if its my business manager??? lets say i have 3 clients how to connect each credit card? Thanks
1 Business Manager for Your Agency
1 ad account per client page
To connect each credit card, you need to write it down (good idea to collect and have on file) and then you attach a separate payment method to each ad account in "payment method" settings
@@ItsKeaton thank you
@@ItsKeaton So if i understand well:
The only access The client should give me is only to put me as admin of page then i add it on my BM right?
Then i create ad account for the client on my BM.
Will the client trust me to give me his card number & security code?
Or Its better they send me the cash to run ads with my credit card?
Or Better use the partner option?
how do I add employees?

My Facebook business page does not look like that, any one else having the same issue?
Send a screenshot in Discord: discord.gg/hrdFtJuTGy
do I need to verify my business manager? I don't have a registered company to verify business manager will this be an issue?
Hmm Im not sure. I would register a company to be safe
@@ItsKeaton If I will partner my business manager with the client's business manager would I still need to verify my business manager or only the client who has to?
@@amalbelal8322 Both likely
@@ItsKeaton huh omg that means I can't start this business right now
Why?
What happens if your Facebook ads account gets banned and how do you prevent it?
Prevent it by not making too many changes too fast and following the rules. If it gets banned you can repeal

What would you like to see in it?
But how can they trust me to put their card information into facebook? I'm turning 17, I don't th8nk they would trust giving their card info to a 17 years old :). Can you tell me how can I do it, and if there is a way where they could put their credit card informations themselves?
are you going to scam them? If not don't worry about it
@@ItsKeaton thanks for the response man, really appreciate you! I guess I overthink too much :)
This video makes no sense. So if we want our client to pay for their own ads are we connecting our BM to their as account under their BM? Or are we creating an ad account specifically for them under our BM
Use 1 BM, yours, and make an ad account for them under it.
I Don’t know why but i don’t get it 😅
What part don't you get?
@@ItsKeaton How will they give me access? Also, my ad account is banned so I created a new one but it still doesn't allow me to run ads.
They have to manually add you as an admin to their business account and have you tried asking for an appeal?
