Just what I was looking for - thank you Jake!! Very clear, informative and useful video with the additional tips.
Great video, another great use of this effect is for 'fake' reflective surfaces (f.eg. floors), where it can be used kinda like a roughness map.
thx for all videos jake!
Very very cool blur effect. Thanks for sharing.
This is so super useful!
OMG This is what I was looking for! Thank you so much
Thanks to make this video! This helping me a lot.
Another Banger!! 😜
If you add a Motion Tile effect (Mirror Edges on) before the Compound Blur you can fix the edges by increasing the Output dimensions.
your comment is life saver, thanks
Thanks for video
man, this channel is f* perfect! Thanks
Most interesting. Some years ago ReVision FX had an option in a pixel blur plugin to blur nominated areas of a composition using an AE mask. Correct me if I am wrong but I think this option was removed around 2018.
What's the advantage over camera lens blur? Is this quicker? Also, the cc composite could help with transparent edges
Yes, it's way faster in my experience. Cc composite could fill in the gaps, but it would be the original, unblurred version.
