I was listening to this track at midnight in my pitch-black room, and I was feeling this intense pressure on my chest everytime those strings hit. I can't even describe it. Phenomenal track, perfect album❤✌
I read this just before the strings, and I think you might've put the idea in my head, but I get the same sensation.
I'm also sat in a dark room waiting to see if the aurora borealis will make it's appearance tonight.
Sometimes everything just comes together. In it's right place, as it were.

I don't think I've ever heard strings produced/mixed like that, they caught me off guard (in a good way). The acoustics of Abbey Road on the last 2 albums are something else too.

Oh my goodness. The memory of seeing this live with the London Contemporary Orchestra at BBC Radio 6. I've still not recovered. It was absolutely gorgeous and magical and this is too ❤❤❤❤❤❤

One of the best track on this album (after a first listen) and this visualiser is fantastic love the green medieval japanese village vibe of the background and that black figure with red eyes, it evokes me Princess Mononoke

I absolutely adore Radiohead, but I’m so incredibly happy for Thom and Jonny (along with an awesome drummer) to have the freedom to create great stuff like this. Unfortunately, I think the name Radiohead comes with certain expectations (not that they’ve really ever given a flying rat’s 😂😂😂) I love that! My ears stay happy and my ADHD brain never gets bored!🥰🥰🥰

The string arrangement has the "Johnny Greenwood" signature all over it. I'm sure I'll go past the beautiful wall of sound and appreciate what is sure to be lyrical genius by Thom behind all of it, but I'll be honest, it might take weeks before I get there.

I love the way thoms vocals match the piano keys that play during or before, some of this song remains me of in the light by led zeppelin, obviously very different, but the droning synth or horn? That plays during the song is chefs kiss
