OK so you love an athlete who disrrespect his sport, opponent, referees and crowd. A guy who go to tournaments just to get paid, while there are a lot of tennis players who got to make a lot of effort to become professional players. Wasted talent, I bet you love Kyrgios too, don't you?

Paire seems like he hates tennis. It feels like it's the only thing he's good enough to make a living at so he does it. But he doesn't seem to enjoy it very much. I watched him at US Open qualifying a few years ago, and he appeared an angry cuss the entire match, even though nothing unusual was going on. I mean, I'm sure there are many athletes like that, but most don't act out with such disdain like him.
Great insight. I was thinking the same. If nothing else, no sense of humor, grace, wit. No enjoyment. And I've yet to see him live.
Playing in the atp I am guessing they make roughly $10000 per tournament. Mind you a lot of expenses incurred but for just a few hours Playing tennis it beats working 9 to 5. That should be motivation enough and these players have it too good but don't appreciate it.

I honestly get the feeling that he doesn't really enjoy tennis. He plays it because he's good at it and can make a decent living, but I don't see much joy from him. I wouldn't doubt at all that he's a decent guy off the court; it's probably where he's happiest.

He’s entertaining except when he tanks, which is often. Tanking is total and utter disrespect for the game, the fans, the opponent, the sponsors, everyone. Tanking should not be tolerated.
It's not tolerated. You get a warning for it, then point penalty then you go to shower with cool water to wake up.
