Since I usually bitch about the video resolution quality of highlight reels, it is only fair that I give you props and appreciation for only showing high resolution highlight videos. Thanks!
Thanks man, means a lot! I always try to find the clips in best quality possible, even if it means downloading entire matches. Sometimes great quality is out there, sometimes not (usually older matches)
I love casual players like Fabio. Yes, he could have competed in grand slams. But there are plenty of players who already do that. Fabio lives to entertain. Gotta love that
Casually jogging is a most glorious description. People who say Fognini could have done more; I think he lived (is living) his dream just like he wants to. I've never dreamt of being number 1; no. 2 is fine in my book. Not everyone can be such an overachiever. That doesn't mean I couldn't get frustrated with my playing; you just don't have to be insane about being no. 1, especially if you realize it's more work than its worth it.
I think people don't give Fognini enough credit for his casual demeanor. Borg had his poker face very much on purpose. Do we find that to seem more of a "choice" for the "emotionally repressed" Swedes, whereas in the "demonstrative Italians" it seems like laziness? The "indolence" is also a way to keep your head on straight. Certainly, if you're playing Fognini, you hope he loses his cool and starts showing it; otherwise, you are fighting not to get made at how damned casual he's being, winning or losing to you. But all that aside, I just find his "style" so infinitely charming. And in that stretch of the US Open vs. Nadal, it truly is inspiring to see absolutely everything running at peak power. The mechanics of his backhand, his shot selection. I love watching tennis players who are playing for the sheer pleasure of knocking the ball around (even when they get frustrated nad can't reach that). I do have the people I hope win (go Stan!), but I really watch tennis to watch the joy of someone playing tennis.
The Velvet Fog... Possibly the largest span between "best" and "worst" level of play of all players? Must be frustrating being a fan! :D And what a nightmare to play against when you realize that "Oh no... He's having a good day. fml"
Top3 is too much, he still had a couple of particular weaknesses (apart from the mental side), which were his serve and his body (which is injury prone). You can’t be that high without a good serve unfortunately, and you can’t expect to be very consistent if you tend to have injury issues quite often. Anyway, he might have been a stable top10 which some peaks in top5
I see that we don't know much about tennis here... Fognini, head aside, has shots to leave any type of player standing on their feet, as he has clearly demonstrated several times. It's a shame that his athletic form and, even more so, his mental strength allowed his talent to express itself only to a minimal extent.
Nole's serve it wasn't very good either. But you see.. now he's a bot serve 195+km/h at every angle. Serve is the most constructable shot, because it depends only on you. Who knows.. I guess Fabio just played for the money, and entertainment..@@aggiotaggio4119

@@RazOls Great! Just subscribed!
I'll never forget Fognini-Nadal US Open 2015: what a match!!

Fognini's footwork is crazy good. It's insane how casual he makes the sport look.
Yes, he keeps energy, without too much unnecessary jumping or moving. I think that recreational players should be done the same
Fognini plays tennis for a living, emphasis on the PLAY. so casual, so talented
Player like Fognini the streets will never forget...
Lmao the streets !!!
lmao just the title got me laughing cuz that dude is the most casual player ive ever seen.. i thought i was the only one who thought so 😂
At 6:03, FABIO Crushes a FEARHAND at 115mph(186 KPH)! He Cleaned off the Line.

9:57 lmao.
Fabio is such a talented entertainer, and if he's having a good day, you might as well pack your racket bag early
Drop shot winner from Nadal’s forehand on clay, never seen other player besides Federer do that.
he's so handsome
So effortless ❤

kyrgios....?
@@1Hydraulic1 Most definitely on the list.
Fogna...one of the greatest talents of tennis. Always thought if he had a regular basis he would be Top 3.
Top 3 nah

Not Top 3 uhu

@@prempititantipool3075powerful forehand though
Per me il piu grande....è un talento puro...avrebbe meritato molto più di ciò che ha ottenuto
If only a tennis match would last ten minutes…
If there's an injury, they do.
For a few moments there I thought the era is over. Forza Fabio 🔥🔥
Remember that match v Carlitos in Rio both like it was yesterday and 6 years ago man, really enjoyed it, now fogna’s struggling with age and injuries
They played in Rio 2022 and 2023, what you say makes no sense
@@ijump-bounce2283 of course I enjoyed this year's one, 2022 was 2-0, more straightforward
fogna just won a challenge in Valencia, I think. incredible final
Fognini has the hands of God/Agassi on the backhand side, racket is effortless extension of the body, can make the ball do anything
Imagine what this guy could've achieved if he kept his cool and would really commit to being no.1?
too weak on serve
Nole's serve it wasn't very good either. But you see.. now he's a bot serve 195+km/h at every angle. Serve is the most constructable shot, because it depends only on you. Who knows.. I guess Fabio just played for the money, and entertainment..@@aggiotaggio4119
Probably worse
great editing
More Fogna videoss
I hope before he retires he choses become a top 5 player
In doubles maybe he will do it
Not in a million years lol. Also, despite him having his moments, he is even more unbearable than Tsitsipas. Which is saying a lot imo.
Some says Tsonga is still trying to understand what happened at 3:36
My favorite player to watch along with the genius Roger!✅️
more like being brilliantly casual
Number 1 casual.
Fognini is one of the best players
2nd in the Race to Turin 🐐
He is a great player of Clay. He always lost by his own mistakes 😂😂😂
Which position would Fognini be ranked at if he was playing like this more frequently?
Definitely easy top 10.
1
If he played like this _consistently_ he would no doubt be number 1 and have 20 grand slams easily. But unfortunately Fabio is not built that way.
He's been top 10, indeed...@@pkoppula
He has casual like swagger similar to Federer.
2:24 Pio e Amedeo🤣
Always loved LaFog.
As brilliant as Fed, when he wasnt being ...not. 😂
Mannarino looks pretty casual as well even tho he is not
Sin duda un tremendo talento... Qué le faltó?... Creo que trabajar un poco más el físico y la mentalidad ganadora.
Fognini>Kyrgios, in terms of talent
Fognini had the talent to be in the Top 5 and even win Slams, but I guess he didn't feel like it...
the only 10 minutes he was on the top of 30 atp, so then...
He got actually up to 9th singular, 7th double.
È mancato solo il servizio. Comunque 9 in singolare e 7 in doppio
