OMG. Dealing with a wicked Wheat allergy & trying to eat healthy to maintain QOL at 74. Just discovered U & it's luv, luv, luv. Thx very much for such deliciousness!
I'm so sorry you have a wheat allergy! That is no fun!!! But I'm glad you're here :) There are so many delicious foods you can still enjoy without wheat!
I love your videos! Thank you for bringing us healthy treats we can enjoy without the guilt. I just made them and put them in the freezer, I used 11/2 cups of oat flour i hope that's ok, and i added a scoop of protein powder too. I saw a trick, someone put a layer of chocolate on the parchment paper, froze it then put the flour mixture, the caramel and Peanuts then a layer of chocolate on top, you don't have to worry about getting your hands dirty with the chocolate.
Thank you, I'm so grateful you like my videos! That's a brilliant idea about putting chocolate on the bottom of the pan. I'll have to try that next time:)
I tried them today and they are delicious😋😍 and I agree, they are better than the original which are just sticky and overly sweet. Thank you for this recipe🌼🌼🌼
Hi Corinne, I'm so glad you had a chance to try these!! My family came to the same conclusion and preferred these to the original :) Can I ask you a quick favor, do you mind leaving a rating and quick review on the recipe card on my website? I appreciate it :) gentletummy.com/best-gluten-free-healthy-homemade-snickers-bars/

I hate to be that person but can the oat flour be subbed out with any other flour like almond?
Hi Suzette, I'm glad you asked :) Yes, instead of using 3/4 cup oat flour and 3/4 cup almond flour, use 1-1/2 almond flour.
