Wow I’ve just found this, trying to find out who the fab drummer on Chris tomlin music and now I know....wow wow and that electric guitar....as a child of the 70s this skill level and long instrumental pieces-is very much appreciated 😂and the fact they are Christian musicians is the best!🙏🎼🌹
Of course he doesn't. Imagine what happens if Chris goes in on for example on 4i, but he should on 1. Then the drummes has to change the grove. It happened on "Lay me down" in redrocks. If he had metronome, the whole song would be crashed. :)
jacekfany he has a metronome because otherwise the tempo changes every time during a song. And they use tracks and if they dont't use a metronome they wont stay at the right tempo while the track is playing....
A metronome is just not for drummers. A good drummer can keep time but its best if the whole band can keep time. Metronomes also help guitar players with delay pedals and tap tempo pedals. Also, most bands use queues. Almost all professional bands use click tracks, its just way easier that way. I've been playing drums for 14 years and I prefer to use clicks.
I know this is a drummer channel, but that electric guitar sounds so good!
totally agree... just sent this to guitarist buddies of mine to check out :)
As a guitarist, I was loving these tones.
True! unfortunately the best view was right by the guitar amp with no other audio but the built-in mic.
Delvis Simmonds what the first song called
Matchless amps :)
So simple but so smooth. Love it!
Never mind, this is 2016 😉
Very cool. I thought that Travis was not playing with Chris any longer because I’ve seen someone else playing with him.
a great relief for drummers like me playing drums without drum mic kit, real drum sound

The point is that the drummer gives the tempo. Good drummer will give you any tempo without metronome and he will not rush.
